But market don behave that way and don think so cos it is still 9 years plus down the road plus the fact that the MCB is structured in such a way that it favours the issuer. " The AE CATA will enhance air connectivity between Asean and Europe and facilitate people-to-people and business exchanges. This will help support economic development in both regions as we work towards recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic," MOT said. Under the agreement, Asean and EU airlines will be able to fly any number of services between both regions. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I guess with so many unwanted rights, we can also subscribe MCB without having right, by paying at the ATM.  If you buy right at $0.001, on 25 Jun the opening price of MCB must be at least S$1.01 for you to make kopi-o money. If MCB price goes down below $1, many people will regret subscribing MCB.  That' s the same story of right issue of SembMar of $0.20, later on traded down until $0.13, which made so many people not happy.  Who want to guess the SIA MCB will trade way below S$1, e.g. $0.70, or $0.60 ?  Anyone?

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I understand this..Therefore I suspect some investors may be selling SIA shares to pick up MCB. Eg if you use cash to buy MCB, and don't intend to sell until 2030. For those who just turn 55 years old, you can now withdraw your CPF monies. And if your intention is to have a fairly risk shares and have a horizon of 9 years, buying MCB is a good option. You can ignore these rights as they are quite useless unless you want to buy MCB. Buying MCB will not give you returns until maturity which is in 2030.
