GEAR manage to increase production fron 2 to 3 million last quarter. It will increase production further and it cost base is low ar $20-21. Current eo coal price is about $41. The profit next few quarter should be good. If management starts to pay dividend, share price should improve then.......at this time, I think management should do more to engage the public. Geo energy seem to be well known among investor because of Jim Roger. |

Indeed read its report ... while coal industry is being played down but it will strengthen it market share as more coal companies are to shut down to fulfil the renewable energy requirement . We can't deny that coal is neccessary to fulfil the requirement of the economy which can't afford the expensive solar and renewable energy infrastructure ... the production cost for renewable energy could not be too far off from the cost of coal but the installation cost is immense . Thus the countries like Indonesia vietnam and some part of china still use coal none the less . It is a economical viable energy to use for the next 10 years at least

There were a lot of news about China going green and reducing the reliance on coal which increase pollution which may have impacted coal company.
However other stocks like geo energy did not drop har much as compared to GEAR. I still believe the GEAR is undervalued and hold on. Feel free to provide any views. Thanks |

It is a much bigger market cap company than Geo Energy and yet it trading vol is much less. :( | ||||
