Wwwwooowwww ... dividend 4c x 4 quarters =16c, stock price now 160c 10% dividend yield ... ... unfortunately likely next year dividend become 2.5c .... dividend yield 6.25% also good ... but next next year become 2c ... dividend yield 5% still ok ... then next next next year .. aiyo ... dont need think so far right??? |

Temasek has been collecting dividend shiok shiok over the years. If rights issue, maybe will cough back out most of the dividend.

Starhub shareholder equity only $600 million plus, whereas debt is over $1 billion. Cannot compare with Singtel, which has almost $30 billion shareholder equity.

Singtel got 10 billion debts what is 1 billion debt for starhub .debt is gd t reduce incom tax that why they no need pay finish .so more delay payment better ca use10% dividend reward shareholder. | ||

When a company is concerned about maintaining dividend at the expense of debt reduction, at the expense of cutting capex for future development like 5G, and customer satisfaction, it is not going to end up well. Since dividend is currently higher than net profit, the dividend has no way to go but down. |
