Not easy to downsize workforce in Singapore, Seatrium should have Worker Union and Government discourage retrenchment, unless is a totally private company. Usually as such. Result is better than last 3 years, except with the provision on merger expenses and contracts.

To be optimistic, the money for the provision for contracts is still there, not an actual loss. The merger expenses is already in history. It doesn' t impact future profits.

Yes, everyone is waiting COE post merger restructuring plan and strategic plan.... not sure why it takes so looooooong... he said by end of this year. Just look at Elon musk he restructure and downsize workforce 1st day after he took over Twiiter haha.. KC ceo 4-5 mths in the job did nothing in organizational change at all.
