Keppel O& M and SMM merger could be next? We believe the ongoing shipbuilding consolidation will accelerate an industry recovery, phase out excess capacity, alleviate competition, and boost pricing power eventually. The Korean yard merger &ndash Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) + Daewoo Shipbuilding (DSME) &ndash proposed in early 2019, followed by merger of two largest Chinese SOE yards (CSIC and CSSC), substantiates our thesis of continued consolidation in the shipbuilding sector. Speculation over the merger of Singapore rigbuilders have reignited, further fuelled by Keppel&rsquo s ongoing strategic review of its O& M business. We hold on to our belief that Keppel O& M should be injected and merged with SMM, making Keppel Corp a pure sustainable urbanisation play that focuses on property, connectivity and infrastructure. |

I can' t give any suggestions as it is your hard earn money. If u are for SembMarine. It' s good to still invested and see how the company develops. If u have faith in SembMarine, u can decides to keep or buy more, depending on your cash flows. To a millionaire, 200k shares is tiny. To a net worth less than 100k. 200k is substantial. So you got to adjust your shares in SembMarine according to your cash flow and net worth

Rights issue at 20cents. Many directors "supported". That's a 2 cents opinions. And recent run up hit about 17cents. So, if at 15+cents, I think still have space to go up. I sold some for coffee money but keeping a batch of 108,000 shares, bought from 16.2cents above.

Morning saw the prices stucked but stable at 0.144/145. Then when woke up after sleep (night shift yesterday) and see what an amazing close. Made some coffee money from a sell order of 30,000 shares queued at 0.147 which I bought at 0.141 some days ago. Still holding to about 108,000 shares, waiting for the surge to resume, with every 1 cent recovery giving me back $1080 to my portfolio. All the best, guys. | ||||
