x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Understanding CFD   &ndash   Contract For Difference. It is a derivative product u do not own the asset. Whether long or short, u r trading against the house, not SGX market. U deposit a sum and can trade at a leverage of 10 times (in usual case) the money. As long as u r holding the position, u would have to pay interest (on a daily basis). Say u put in 100k, technically u can trade up to 1 million in value. However, as interest need to be paid, very few will do that. A prudent way would be: trade up to 330k keep one third for interest payment the balance for average up/down, margin call & so on. Say u want to long 1 million units of A stock, the house may decide not to let u get at all or only fulfil partly, if they think there is too much a risk to bet against u. Not so straight forward as u can see. Hence, govt regulatory requires an assessment on whether u r novice or sophisticated trader before allowing u to open a CFD trading account. Many heard about CFD but know very little. This is what I know. Correct me if I am wrong.

Who to blame? Frustrated on yourself just like myself. The synergy is 3Q24 and FY24.

I think it will continue its downtrend towards month end 3Q24 report. Coupled with good fulfillment results (if they disclose any), only then will we see some creep up in shares towards fundamental value for 2025. Global sentiment is not the best for now, I feel lotsa patience needed till Mar FY2024 results show an expected jump in profits.
