You could have contributed to their doom if you had sold. Bandit, I am more interested in the gun you use. Is this a horse run you did escaping on a horse? x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Just to share I was burned good and proper by Starhub (CC3).. .tried buy and hold, bought it at IPO back in 2004 about 1SGD&hellip it went all the way to about 4.5 in 2013&hellip I was so tempted to sell and people were telling me how it could go higher, pay dividend, Temasek backed, Telco & Tech stock, life time share to hold blah blah blah&hellip .and today 10 years after its at where I bought at IPO&hellip it went one round trip&hellip Three things I have learnt in investing&hellip price movement is never Linear in one direction, learn to change your opinion when the facts change exit with more money than you entered   In the last 20 years DBS had hit the following Highs and Lows during the GFC, Europe Debt Crisis, China GDP softening and covid, each time DBS saw 20-30 % drops so for patient investors a black swan window (not if just when)   In the last two years DBS has seen highs and lows, so again a window will open at some point. Feb 2022 High 37.25 Jul 2022 Low 29.49 Feb 2023 High 36.03 Jul 2023 Low 30.67 Mar 24 High 36.50 LOW?????   Opportunity cost lost for me on 30K shares is as follows 3K Bonus Shares &ndash taking the avg of 52 week high and low assign a price of 33.5 = 100,500 2.16 of yearly div &ndash 33K shares x 2.16 = 71,280 Total opportunity cost = 171,780. Capital profit made yesterday, 90K after deducting comms etc etc Profit left to be made trading to even opportunity cost lost &hellip .81,780 Which if I trade on 30K shares I need to arbitrage 2.70SGD movement. My ultimate objective is to enter DBS under 25SGD&hellip at that price I will never buy or sell it again maybe for a 2-3 year window period cos after my Lover Starhub broke my heart&hellip I will NEVER say NEVER SELL again&hellip . This is not investment advice and just my personal opinion, Do your own DUE Diligence
