I was expecting a gap up of at least 8-10 cts at the opening, but too bad, it din materialise. This counter is at all time high, so any pullback to the moving average presenst a good opportunity to buy, dyodd. I was enticed by the 19 cts special div, but i guess this is a one time event. |

Very attractive numbers coming from 2Q result, and I' m especially interested in strong operating cashflow (~$50m), low debt (~$98m) and huge cash position (~$250m) which could be deployed toward efficiency improvement efforts, acquisitions, and equipment upgrades amongst other possibilities. Management also has a rosy outlook for FY17. Interim dividend is very generous (~16%). Only risk is it operates in a highly cyclical market (smartphones, consumer electronics). Congrats to those holding. Not vested, just chanced upon this today although Hi-P caught my eye some time back, didn' t act upon it.

Gross profit jumps 64.9% yoy to S$34.2 million while margin expands 4.9 percentage points to 12.2%, driven by improvements to operational efficiency and a shift in product mix to less high component content assembly products &bull Robust core business operations generate strong positive operating cash flows amounting S$51.5 million, contributing to balance sheet strength as net cash position improves to S$156.5 million as at 30 June 2017 (31 December 2016: S$25.1 million) &bull The Board of Directors recommends an interim dividend of 19 Sing cents per share to reward shareholders for their support &bull Management expects higher revenue and profit for 2H2017 as compared to 1H2017 Damn good result and dividends. |

One thing for sure 2Q17 fin result will still be positive and above expectation.Full year will be profitable as guided by Chairman. Any takeover materlialised is an added bonus. |

aiyo...you still trust dbs research? remember they target high higher on japfa and ezion just about a month ago. now drop target when things went the other way....now their target for ezion dropped to 33 from 62....aiyo still target this and target that
