 Alert Admin 		Abit of FOMO, they dont wanna miss the boat if the same situation happens so they rather take the risk of it happening than not. 

STA pass the initiative to us now whether to follow, but IMO CEO william should be smart enough to follow suit. But if no dividend there better be a very good reason where they are pouring the profits into.

Assuming a similar trend, 25% gain MT will touch 1.3 region which is the safe bet TP from DBS. Fingers crossed for the coming weeks!

Thanks to bro greg email to IR, hopefully, it would make them think twice before being too conservative on the dividends as it appears the CFO of MT has been somewhat overly prudent or stingy on the usage of their profits.  smiley

I am not sure if Team Medtecs have observed the Difference in Dividend Policy between the Thai gloves and Malaysia gloves counter parts, alongside how this unlocks value of loyal shareholders.
 
All of them released stellar results whilst Sri Trang (Thai) chose to DIRECTLY reward shareholders with a 7 cents SGD dividend, the Malaysian counterparts chose to give less than 1 cents SGD dividend.
 
As a loyal shareholder of Medtecs, and representing a group of investors, I sincerely hope your team can consider following the Thai' s approach. For too long, Medtecs share price have favored short term traders and alienated Long Term Holders.
 
We would also appreciate a Guidance on Q1 and Q2 results which I believe should be more stellar than the already record profit Q4 to be announced.

MT needs to not only declare stellar financials, but also good dividends as well. Only then that will entice shareholders to go long.

Otherwise, there is no benefit in holding a share which price is being suppressed and not moving much for the long term. Many go after REITS or counters HPH which has high annual returns for exactly the reason that the returns  are way higher than what banks are offering.

 Alert Admin 		STA' s payout ratio is quite attractive: 36.23% for ordinary, and 19% for sp div.
Top Gloves intended is also very attractive: 50% for ord, and 25% for sp div (if my memory is still good?)
If Medtecs follow suit just like them, even if a bit lower, say 20% for ord, and 10% for sp, the total div would be around 13c plus.
So let' s hope Clement and William is reading our postings in SJ, and act accordingly!  laugh
