competition? TPG? it was some analysts who were constantly creating fear about the competition. the bandwidth auction too expensive.bla .. like analyst know the market better then IDA or the 3 telcos. think IDA allowing another potential telco must have roughly estimate that market size can take it. after all telco market is protected in a sense that to operate, one need license and bandwidth. i view the bid up of bandwidth prices as defensive so as to make entry cost for new telco high. if within 1-2 years new telco cannot get sizeable market share they cannot build enough sucker for new shares issue /loan then they are on the way out. |

Suddenly...feel like it is a plot, trick TPG to enter Singapore and make TPG overstretched, so that they unable to compete properly in Australia market. And at the same time, kana hit by Spore market. Er.....TPG on the way to collapse??

I am a newbie here. Hope this write up will boost up the current depressed prices of telcos shares. What I get from the recent dividend payment from Singtel is not enough to cover the price depreciation of the shares itself.

UOB?F SECTOR UPDATE Telecommunications &ndash Singapore TPG Telecom &ndash Overstretched And Forced To Prioritise The entry of TPG Telecom as the fourth mobile operator in Singapore will be delayed to 2H18. Its financial performance is also likely to worsen in FY19. Given the acute execution risk in Australia, TPG has limited capacity to pursue an overly aggressive and disruptive strategy to gain market share in Singapore. BUY M1 (Target: S$1.98) and Singapore Telecommunications (Target: S$4.53). Yield-oriented investors should also consider NetLink NBN Trust (Target: S$0.93). Maintain OVERWEIGHT.

suck it, my home m1 fiber is down. just do a google and found this: https://www.facebook.com/mobile1/posts/10150307805536185 Looked at the whole list of complaints, looks like they havent improved much after all these years. Spend so much $$$$$$$ to buy back its own shares, maybe $ could be spend on the network, technical & manpower to improve it. Suck it suck it suck it |

the investors or shareholderw will feel very sian....beside throwing $$ to kill all including themselves, not much means leh. Just like Grabxx & etc. This type of business model not healthy leh...though consumers may benefit initially...
