Sometime down the road , CNTD will have to raise fund from existing shareholder..or to private investors, hopefuly able to nab in reputable international players. To be able to raise substantial fund , CNTD cant stay as a penny stock to attract well known players. It is unlikely CNTD is a dividend played stock ! Share price will reflect the future in advance.....price might move if things are in right direction n progressing. Might be biased DYODD |

CNTD currently is under going restructuring, put in place new leadership, clean out the unproductive assets, restart/ revive the businesses... All this will take times CDB is the right guy n has the financial muscle , reputation relationship to do the jobs The results for CNTD will only be seen few years down the road. CNTD has dual listing status, with CDB as majority share holder...they can attract international player to participate in China Urbanization. |

Here are some datas n thoughts(guesses)
CDB 国 开 行 projected China need about 4000B usd for the urbanization in the next three years Funds besides come from local governments, much capitals will have to come from private sectors or foreign funds China current urbanization is about 52% versus 80% for developed country. Every 1% increases in Urbanization increase 1.2% GDP.

That' s primarily my concern, why would a bank want to control this stock. Secondly, the people who previously held positions on virtue of relation to Shi Jian has been taken out 1 by 1. Is this a sign that the company will finally engage the right person to do the job ? |

Why would China Development Bank (100% Subsidiary CBDIH) interested in a Penny stock in Singapore ? (now they are like 54% shareholder) China Development Bank 国 家 开 发 银 行 is a policy Bank directly report to prime minister office 国 務 院 . Urbanization... Synergy to CNTD ,Taping of foreign fund (dual listing status) ? CNTD will no longer be the same in long run , it cant remain as a penny stock for them to do the jobs Cheers

China Development Bank International Holdings (CDBIH), has agreed to subscribe for some 5.3b new shares in CNTD, which represents about 54.32% of the total issues shares of the enlarged capital base. The CDB Capital platform was established back in 2009 in the past four years, they have expanded to more than 20 cities in China, so they are a very dominant player in this field. CDB has a competitive advantage - its network with local governments, and deep pockets to raise substantial funds at competitive rates, and it is also worth noting that CNTD has entered into a disposal master agreement with SRE Investment Holding Limited (SREI), the original controlling shareholder, which will hold 14.91% of the enlarged total share following the transaction. Under the terms of the agreement, SREI has agreed to purchase CNTD's non-core assets for a total consideration of Rmb2.07b. These assets include schools, hotels, exhibition centres and hospitals, which were built to enhance the value of the towns. bThis adds a little bit of a sweetener for shareholders because these assets have traditionally been loss-making to the company. SREI is contemplating buying this basket of assets at book value. Down the road, future new towns developed by CNTD will have such amenities run by its strategic partners. Both the subscription and proposed disposal are subject to shareholders' approval at CNTD's extraordinary general meeting, scheduled for Dec 30 at 10am. | ||||
