Yup! Said this before too. Expect the stock to trade sideways or drop until good news is announced. Too many unknowns. I think it' ll trade around the 2.40-2.55 range until we hear something.

as mentioned earlier, everyone have a different TP or TD (target price or target date). not everyone have the power to hold. those who can hold, will have to take a small risk in short term but if they hold long enough, they will see the benefits when the fruit starts to ripe.

another thing everyone have to consider. how our market perform does not depend solely on US markets only. for the last 2 weeks when our market was on the uptrend, US market was still marginally on the downtrend. It was hovering around 28-29k mark for the longest time. When it hit 30k last night, our market was not that upbeat about it. It' s because today is mostly correction period and investors takes a kopi break but it does not mean our market generally is not doing well. so, don' t feel too happy when you see US stock rises unless you have some over there! and don' t panic when you suddenly see why our counters are dropping. What goes up must come down but what goes down, will go up again. Every counter will have a chance to be in the limelight but they cannot keep hogging. Must let other a chance to shine. Look at Clearbridge. It was totally dead for the longest. Suddenly today it became alive....... |

now you are thinking too much. you have to look at the bigger picture and think again what' s their core business. digital banking license will be add on thing for them. if they manage to acquire the license, it will take them at least 2-3 years to settle down. acquiring the license does not mean Singtel price will shoot up to the moon and beyond. it will move up a bit but not at a level which we all can retire yet.
