of course not all but if it&rsquo s a possible strategic asset, then there must be considerations made in investing and growing them. But my main point is to look at the person who is running the company just like how a capable leader will run a state. You just look at the CEO&rsquo s credentials and how he singlehandedly secure the Cambodian government , you know kris is in good hands.

Keppel is a conglomerate and the funds are supplied by Temasek. Unlike Hyflux, there is direct involvement from Temasek and Kris is one of the strategic asset in securing Singapore energy needs beyond 2025 when the world&rsquo s fossils fuel output will start to decline.

Keppel invested more than 500m in this company.. not likely to let in go down just like that. And the team of directors are ex keppel staff. Am sure they will work something out. Infact company is profitable .. jus need to get rid of those unnecessary impairments. Unless keppel hv some other tricks up their sleeves .like eg bring the price down so they can private at a premium | ||||

So Keppel Corp going to write down their subsidiary Krisenergy to zero also? Or are they still keeping it at cost? Hope don' t like Hyflux like that, Tuaspring book value at more than a billion then when want to sell only few hundred million.

IMO investors for these type of counters (kris,ezion) already knows the risk involved. the money invested are no use to them thus they make a gamble, just like going casino.. for risk averse investors , they will not touch these counters. DYODD

the story of Kris is summed up in ' ' no significant hydrocarbon found" perhaps drilling at wrong location or bad fengshui or whatever exisitng 9,800 barrels per day just wont cut it wait for the day it announce significant oil found is the day Kris strike toto | ||||
