x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Investment holding company Hiap Hoe Strategic said it has obtained shareholders? approval at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on Monday to proceed with its planned purchase of SuperBowl Holdings at S$0.75 a share. SuperBowl is a mainboard-listed company whose principal activities include managing leisure and recreational facilities such as bowling centres and amusement centres, and investing in commercial properties. Hiap Hoe had said it believed that " there is a strategic and operational fit between the property development and investment business" of the two companies and the offer will " create a compelling partnership for the merged property development" . Mainboard-listed Hiap Hoe also said it planned to make SuperBowl its wholly-owned subsidiary and to delist SuperBowl, as a separate listing would incur another set of compliance costs.

Have been picking up Superbowl shares and waiting since May. :) imperialap      ( Date: 27-May-2013 11:27) Posted: The stock is not well-covered in the first place, not many people know of this stock. Just look at the trading volume. Even if there's news, doubt many people will notice. Hiap Hoe is raising 500M from medium term notes, makes me wonder what they want to do with that money. I think there's a chance that Hiap Hoe may buy over Superbowl's share of the hotels or probably even to buy over Superbowl itself. Of course, guessing is pointless, wait for further news and see what they want to do.  :)

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Another scenario is everything remain " status quo" . i.e. offer @75c failed + HH did NOT revise upward 75c-offer price n then offer lapsed, everything back to sq 1. Then what happen? HH will plunge back to 70c+, SB back to 50c+. However OSK-DMG report take for granted that 75c-offer will go thru' & hence their TP 94c for HH. OSK-DMG says HH worth =94c if succeed but they may be selling.... no one know. DYODD.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Yes. If takeover failed at 75c, then HH may up offer, then SB px will go up. Opposite view: If takevover go thru at 75c, then HH may hit 94c (as OSK-DMG report). Can roughly tell by end of today, if vol of SB still v. low then more likely = fail takeover @75c. In which case it is advisable to do a switch from HH to SB holdings. DYODD, can go either way.

If HH owned 70% can they buy another 20%   to cross 90% mandatory delisting? If takeover failed, then HH price? now 83c If takeover failed, then SB price? now 73c vs RNAV est. $1.30, any comments pls.
