CSE Global secures major electrification contract in US worth $64.3 mil CSE Global (SGX:544) announced that it has secured a major electrification contract worth US$49.8 million ($64.3 million) in the US. The contract is for the design and manufacture of power distribution centres (PDCs), as well as the integration of complex electrical and control systems and equipment, for the Cheyenne Power Hub project in USA. CSE Global states that it will supply the PDCs to an unnamed customer for the project. The group adds that the PDCs will form a critical part of the power infrastructure, enabling the safe and reliable distribution of power to the adjacent data centre. The contract is expected to be executed progressively between 2026 and 2027. &ldquo Securing this major contract reflects CSE Global' s strong integration capabilities across diverse sectors and the confidence our customer has in our proven execution track record. The contract is expected to contribute positively to CSE Global' s financial performance for the financial years ending Dec, 31, 2026 and 2027,&rdquo says Lim Boon Kheng, group managing director and CEO of CSE Global. CSE Global expects the contract to have no material impact on its consolidated net tangible assets per share or earnings per share for the current financial year. Shares of CSE Global closed 5 cents lower, or down 3.88% at $1.24 on Aug 14. |

CSE Global&rsquo s 1HFY2026 earnings down 19.3% y-o-y to $13.2 mil declares interim dividend of 0.91 cents per share CSE Global (SGX:544) has reported net profit of $13.9 million for 1HFY2026 ended June 30, down 19.3%. Excluding various non-recurring items such as one-off irrecoverable tax, CSE Global&rsquo s adjusted net profit would have declined by just 12.4% y-o-y to $13.9 million. Revenue in the same period grew 27.4% y-o-y to $561.5 million, driven by its electrification business segment in the Americas region with higher project revenues for the data centre market. In terms of revenue breakdown, its electrification business segment accounted for 50.4% of revenue, while the communications and automation business segments each contributed 24.8%. Gross profit grew 8.8% y-o-y to $133.7 million but gross profit margin saw a slight dip to 23.8% from 27.9% back in 1HFY2025. The decline in margin was due to a change in business mix as the group saw a higher contribution from lower-margin data centre projects, of which it procures materials on behalf of its hyperscaler customer. Operating expenses increased 7.9% y-o-y to $109.4 million, mainly due to higher personnel costs as a result of unabsorbed labour costs from lower labour utilisation during the ramp-up of a new manufacturing facility in the Americas region, as well as additional personnel costs to support the expansion of the electrification business in the Americas region. CSE Global also incurred a one-off irrecoverable withholding tax of $1.3 million on payroll-related activities and recorded unfavourable y-o-y movement of $1.0 million in expected credit losses on accounts receivable, reflecting a provision recognised in 1HFY2026 compared with a write-back in 1HFY2025. With the results, CSE Global&rsquo s board of directors has recommended a one-tier tax-exempt interim dividend of 0.91 cents per share. &ldquo The Group' s business outlook remains healthy, underpinned by a strong order book that provides good revenue visibility for the remainder of the year. However, earnings growth is expected to moderate in FY2026 due to investments associated with the new production facility, costs related to the wind-down of water and wastewater projects and lower margins from execution of certain Electrification large greenfield projects,&rdquo says Lim Boon Kheng, CSE Global&rsquo s CEO and managing director. Shares of CSE Global closed 1 cent higher, or up 0.78% at $1.29 on Aug 13. |

Yes, after the announcement of the previous ILD' s resignation, my CSE share holdings have been under water. Let see this new appointee with M& A experience could give the confidence to the market and for the share price to revert close to the price before the resignation.

New Independent Lead Director, with M& A experience.  Well, see whether this appointment will lift the share prices to the pre resignation of the previous ILD. Also, time to provide meaningful update to the  " Strategic Review" other than the standard Pentagon' s word of - Ongoing. |

CSE Global appoints Amitava Guharoy as lead independent director CSE Global (SGX:544) announced that it has appointed Amitava Guharoy as its new lead independent director. His appointment will take effect from Aug 10. Apart from his position as the lead independent director, Guharoy will also be taking on the role of Chairman of CSE Global&rsquo s audit and risk committee (ARC) and member of the nominating committee (NC). As part of the selection process, the NC has engaged Singapore Institute of Directors to assist in identifying suitable candidates for the NC&rsquo s consideration. &ldquo In considering this appointment, the Board took into account, in particular, Guharoy&rsquo s extensive financial and accounting expertise and substantial experience in audit, M& A and corporate finance,&rdquo CSE Global states in the Aug 7 announcement. CSE Global&rsquo s previous lead independent director, Tan Chian Khong, who has been on the board for seven years, stepped down back on June 2. In his resignation filing, CSE Global states that it was due to the &ldquo differences of views with regard to working with controlling shareholders&rdquo . Based on CSE Global&rsquo s latest annual report, Heliconia Capital Management, a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, is the single largest controlling shareholder with a 23.79% stake. CSE Global is currently undertaking a strategic review &ldquo with the objective of maximising shareholder value&rdquo , following a request from its controlling shareholder. The company issued a follow up announcement back on Aug 5 that the strategic review is still ongoing. Shares in CSE Global closed 1 cent higher, or 0.8% up at $1.26 on Aug 7. |

CSE Global secures nearly $200 mil in new orders for 2QFY2026, down 5.8% y-o-y CSE Global (SGX:544) , a provider of electrification, communications and automation solutions, has secured $199.1 million in new orders for 2QFY2026 ended June 30, down 5.8% y-o-y. During the quarter, the groupก ฆ s electrification business segment saw a drop of 29% y-o-y in new order intake to $63.9 million, mainly due to timing difference arising from the replacement of a purchase order, with the new purchase order expected to be received in the subsequent quarter. Meanwhile, its communications business segment saw an increase of 8.9% y-o-y in order intake to $78.9 million, driven by stronger order flows in the Australia and New Zealand markets. The Automation business segment saw the strongest growth for this quarter, up 15.2% y-o-y to $56.2 million worth of order intake. On the whole, CSE Globalก ฆ s order book as at 2QFY2026 stood at $620.4 million, up 8.1% y-o-y. ก ง Demand across our key markets remains healthy, supported by a robust tender pipeline. We remain focused on converting this pipeline selectively, executing our order book with discipline and delivering projects on schedule,ก จ says Lim Boon Kheng, managing director and CEO of CSE Global. Shares in CSE Global closed 2 cents lower or 1.56% down at $1.26 on Aug 5. |
