Take a chart and draw a MA200 and either a MA 50 , 100 or 150 and look at it. Will help you judge where we going.  If we make it to 12c tomorrow we will take a breather and once 0.124 is breached the Key points are the MA200/MA100 crossover on 22nd April and MA200/MA150 crossover on 28th April. My personal expectations for price movement purely based on previous resistance points and technical charts WERE above 20c closer to mid 30' s.  If we close at 0.116 we may have a  GREEN MARUBOZU CANDLE STICK  which is another rare and MAJOR  positive signal

No doubt the forward PE is very attractive, but the issue at this point is about the bargaining power of these 2 companies which determines the swap ratio, notwithstanding the good valuation and fundamentals of SM. No dispute about that, only on the bargaining power. Then the financing after merger to complete the projects, via Temasek injection Or more likely Rights issue. As charts are turning positive and there still are open shorts to cover, the business update would help to continue upward to 16c. If there was NO merger & NO Newco this would have been the start of a bull run for SCM. However,  the Merger and Newco news and the deal will now decide the price. As long as this news is not yet out, we will continue upwards and it should not be a surprise if we touch 20c by month end ( Subject to an announcement of a profitable Q1 and dividends )
