One step closer to being a cement company
The Board is pleased to announce that SGX-ST has informed the Company in its letter dated 12 October 2017 that SGX-ST has no objection to the proposed appointment of BDO Advisory Pte Ltd as the Second Valuer. It should be noted that this response from SGX-ST should not be taken as an indication of the merits of BDO Advisory Pte Ltd?s proposed appointment as the Second Valuer, the Proposed Acquisition, the Consideration Shares, the Company and/or its subsidiaries. On 13 October 2017, the AC has commissioned BDO Advisory Pte. Ltd.?s appointment as the Second Valuer to conduct a valuation of the 100% equity interest in JVCo. Based on the terms of engagement agreed between the Company and BDO Advisory Pte Ltd, the Company targets the Final Valuation Report to be issued prior to the completion of the Proposed Acquisition currently scheduled for 27 November 2017, being 30 Business Days from 14 October 2017, the date of the EGM to be held to obtain Shareholders? approval for the Proposed Acquisition. The Company will make further announcements if there are any change to the scheduled date for the Completion. |
