x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Fortress Minerals and Southern alliances are doing well. So I guess HG Metal can ride on their coattail since they are dealing with finished products which required iron. HG Metal last gave dividend in 2017. 2020 was a lousy year due to covid 19.  Yet they are giving out dividend this year. It shows their optimism. When giving out dividend, company will usually consider cashflow and profitablity. Most company would rather conserve cash by not giving dividend or lower dividend as the economy is not doing well. So I guess moving forward they should be doing well, barring any unforeseen circumstances or worsing of covid19 in Singapore. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	HG Metal Manufacturing clarifies wrong final dividend declared TUE, APR 27, 2021 - 7:25 PM   HG Metal Manufacturing on Tuesday clarified that its final dividend for FY2020 is 0.5 Singapore cent per share, and not S$0.50 per share, which was wrongly stated in an announcement on the Singapore Exchange a day earlier. The dividend of 0.5 Singapore cent had been declared and approved by shareholders at its annual general meeting on Monday, for the company' s financial year ended Dec 31, 2020. A separate replacement announcement has since been issued to rectify the " typographical error in the body of the announcement which occurred due to inadvertent oversight" , said HG Metal in a bourse filing. Shares of HG Metal had seen a high volume trade on Tuesday, with some 2.04 million shares changing hands.
