14.3c div coming...share price.only 10.5c Post Reply Rate topic

Left HKD777.7m for distribution over 977.8m shares, after deducting expenses, working capital, bloodsuckers etc. Works out to HKD0.795 per share, and of course subjected to prevailing interest rates. After the special dividend, the company enters hibernation mode where trading in its shares will be suspended. Unless it' s bought over for a backdoor listing within 12 months, it will be written off likely with zero value. This sale really covers everything (including GrandBlue holdings), with the remaining gap to NAV all written off. IMO, the sales price is too low and is not really fair to shareholders which have held on for a longer timeframe. Still a small profit for me, but a loss to long-term shareholders.
