This news was featured on CNA/MediaCorp Ch5 News, two days ago... it was a short video, but it speaks volume.... and of great significance. If it is to be listed in NASDAQ, this is part of a complelling reason....if you have been to the AGM, you would have learned the tails behind the spin. PEOPLE DON' T UNDERSTAND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF IT, UNTIL IT TRULY BECOMES SIGNIFICANT..... ======== AEM is currently undergoing a massive transformation from a Singapore-based company into a truly global semiconductor powerhouse. By 2026, it has shifted its focus heavily toward the United States to capture the AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) boom. 1) The Significance of the US Expansion AEM has moved beyond just having offices in the US it now operates a specialized engineering hub in San Diego and supports facilities in Arizona and Oregon. ~  Being Near the " Big Tech Players" :  San Diego is the home of Qualcomm and a major base for Intel. Being local allows AEM to fix problems and design new testers in real-time alongside their customers. ~  The AI Boom: The chips used for AI (like those from Nvidia or Intel) get very hot and are hard to test. The US facilities focus specifically on Thermal Management ~ making sure these powerful chips don' t melt during the testing process. ~  National Security: By building in the US, AEM aligns with the US CHIPS Act. This makes US customers feel safer knowing their secret chip designs are being tested on American soil rather than in high-risk regions. 2)  The Missing Link: The ASE Partnership AEM' s partnership with ASE (and its US unit, ISE Labs) is a game-changer. ASE is the world' s largest chip packaging company. ~  One-Stop Shop: Instead of a chipmaker sending a chip to one place for packaging and another for testing, the AEM-ASE partnership allows it to happen in one smooth workflow in San Diego. ~  Time-to-Market Speed: This setup significantly cuts down the time it takes to get a new chip from the factory to the store. ~  The Gold Standard: Having a giant like ASE use AEM' s machines in the US proves to the rest of the industry that  AEM' s technology is the gold standard. 3)  The Global Synergy: How the Facilities Work Together AEM uses a " Hub and Spoke" model (I said so many times until I sound like a broken record). Each country has a specific job: ~  United States (The Designer): High-end research, rapid prototyping, and talking to customers. It' s the " Boutique" where new ideas are born. ~  Singapore (The Brains): Global HQ. It handles the most complex engineering and high-value manufacturing. (Can you " feel" one GLC is always looking over the shoulders?) ~  Malaysia (The Muscle): The Penang plant (365,000 sq ft) is the mass-production engine. Once a machine is designed in the US/Singapore, Malaysia builds hundreds of them at a lower cost. ~  Vietnam (The Support): Focuses on smaller parts like circuit boards and cables. It acts as a backup to ensure production never stops if another country has issues.

Bro aragosta, will there be a slight possibility that AEM is a prime target for other bigger players to acquire or takeover?

AMD gives upbeat forecast after AI data center demand surges https://www.theedgesingapore.com/news/highlight/amd-gives-upbeat-forecast-after-ai-data-center-demand-surges AMD Earnings: Stock Rallies 6% after Strong Q1 Beat and Bullish Outlook https://www.tipranks.com/news/3-best-technology-etfs-to-buy-with-15-upside-potential AMD forecasts quarterly revenue above expectations as AI chip demand stays strong.  Unlike Intel, the company outsources its manufacturing to contract chipmakers such as TSMC https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/breaking-news Story  Highlights
Advanced Micro Devices  stock soared 6% in after-hours trading after the chipmaker reported Q1 earnings results.  Adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.37, rose 42.7% year-over-year, and beat the consensus estimate of $1.29. In addition, revenue increased 38% year-over-year to $10.3 billion, driven by surging demand for high‑ performance CPUs and accelerators powering AI workloads. The top line also beat analysts' expectations of $9.90 billion. CEO  Dr. Lisa Su  said the quarter marked a turning point for the company, aided by strong demand for AI infrastructure. Su added that customer interest in AMD' s MI450 Series accelerators and Helios platform is exceeding expectations, with a growing pipeline of large‑ scale deployments providing increased visibility into future growth. Data Center Leads the Charge AMD' s Data Center segment delivered a standout quarter, with revenue climbing 57% year-over-year to $5.8 billion. The surge was fueled by strong demand for EPYC processors and continued ramp‑ up of Instinct GPU shipments as hyperscalers expand AI infrastructure.  Outlook: More AI‑ Driven Growth Ahead AMD expects the momentum to continue into Q2. The company guided for $11.2 billion in revenue, plus or minus $300 million, reflecting 46% year‑ over‑ year growth at the midpoint and a 9% sequential increase. Adjusted gross margin is expected to hold at 56%, compared with 55% in Q1. Management said server growth should " accelerate meaningfully" as supply catches up with demand, driven by rising AI inferencing and agentic AI workloads that require more high‑ performance compute. |

Ah Tong, you should know by now, I' m not a gambler..... like stocks, I am a long term serious investor...I sell only when I made enough, or to average down my cost.... like AEM, my average cost is below a dollar! Be like me lah, don' t treat SGX like a casino...... By the way, how come you never post JPM buying into AEM, filed with SGX today... https://links.sgx.com/FileOpen/_eFORM3V2.ashx?App=Announcement& FileID=887624only post when they sell, you were quick to post......like that how can? boh swee leh..... Anyway, these buy and sell transactions relating to such large institutional investment funds are not so critically significant here, the point which I' m trying to make all along..... ' As I repeatedly said.... " It is important to view these disclosures as standard market activity rather than a shift in institutional sentiment. JPMorgan functions as a global investment house, often acting as a custodian or nominee for a wide range of institutional and high-net-worth clients. Consequently, many of these transactions are client-driven rather than proprietary trades made with JPM' s own capital. When a sale occurs, it typically reflects a client' s decision to take profits, rebalance a portfolio, or reallocate funds to another asset ~ much like a retail trader would ~ rather than a lack of confidence by JPM in the company' s long-term value." |

On my way back from the Genting Dream Cruise this morning, I found this report lying on the floor at the gangway... it' s like as if someone purposely leave there, begging me to pick it up. I picked up, read it, found it interesting, so I thought I should share it with you.   This report summarizes the investment thesis for AEM Holdings' potential transition to the Nasdaq, evaluating whether this move can recreate the " Creative Technology" success story of the 1990s.

The AEM " NASDAQ Moon Quest"
The Core Objective: While AEM is expanding its physical plants in the US, the primary goal of a  Nasdaq listing is  Valuation and Visibility. Management aims to rebrand AEM from a " Singapore industrial firm" into a " Global AI Hardware leader." (One can sense the presence of a government~linked entity hiding in a closet nearby). This transition is the only realistic catalyst that could push the stock from its current single-digit range toward a  double-digit valuation ($10&ndash $25+).

1. The Golden Ticket: The SGX-Nasdaq Bridge
Previously, listing in the US was a nightmare of paperwork and fees. By mid-2026, a new regulatory bridge changes the game:
~  With a market cap exceeding S$2B, AEM is a prime candidate for this fast-track program.~  Ease of Entry: AEM  can use a single prospectus to list on both exchanges. ~  This reduces thehigh administrative fees discussed earlier, making the move much more efficient.
2. The Why: The Valuation Gap
The market thrives on " multiples."
~  Singapore Market: Investors are often conservative, valuing tech stocks based on steady dividends and modest growth. ~  Nasdaq Market: US investors pay a premium for AI infrastructure. AEM' s peers (like Teradyne) trade at significantly higher price-to-earnings ratios. ~  Result: Moving to the Nasdaq allows AEM to be measured against  AI giants, which could re-rate the share price significantly higher without changing the underlying business.
3. The " Creative Technology" Comparison
Can AEM emulate Creative' s $50+ peak?
~  The Similarities: Both companies utilized Singaporean engineering to dominate a global niche. Both sought the Nasdaq to tap into Big Tech capital. ~  The Difference: Creative was a  Consumer  play (Sound Blaster). AEM is an  Infrastructure  play. While AEM might not have the household name fame, its role as a gatekeeper for AI chip testing makes its revenue potentially more stable and sticky than a consumer gadget.
4. The Golden Bullet of Growth: AI & HPC
The transition is fueled by a massive shift in AEM' s business model: ~  The New Anchor: AEM has moved beyond its heavy reliance on Intel. Two new Top 5 AI/HPC giants are now driving the company' s growth.
~  Financial Health:  AEM entered 2026 with  S$74.3M in net cash  and strong cash flow. This means they don' t  need  the Nasdaq just to survive ~ they are using it to  thrive and expand  their US footprint (Arizona/California).
5. The Risks to Watch
~  Small Fish Status: On the Nasdaq, AEM is a small-cap stock. It must fight for the attention of US analysts to avoid being ignored and neglected  ~  The Profit Target: To realistically sustain  a  S$25.00  price, AEM needs to scale its annual net profits significantly (targeting ~S$200M+). Not impossible. ~  Litigation: The ongoing Advantest lawsuit remains a hurdle that could affect investor sentiment during the listing process.
The Executive Summary
AEM is attempting to catch the AI Lightning in a bottle. The Nasdaq listing is the  multiplier. If AEM successfully ramps up its AI testing solutions for its new anchor customers, the  combination of  high earnings growth  and  US market valuation  could realistically propel the stock price into the double-digits.

Be very careful what you wish for..... may very well happen at the rate it is going, and I' m not talking just about the price with the way and speed AI is moving. .... maybe not now, or this year, but in a year or two or three..... it may very well happen, eventually.... Right now,   the vibe, is about AEM overtaking IFast soon .... it may well be supported by the fact that big players are cashing out of iFast and moving their money into AEM.... you just need to compare the movement of both prices..... beginning of the year IFast was almost $11, AEM below $2..... now IFast is fast moving towards $8, AEM is fast moving to above $8.... if AMD results is overwhelming fantastic tomorrow night, and AEM results next week is well beyond expectations, which black market is heavily betting it would be, the " exchange" ceremony of AEM/IFAST prices might take place as early as this week.....

A COFFEE SHOP STORY.... As I said, the funds and institutions, in tacit coordination from the black market players, are running the show. You may want to know, and please no need to use AI to check because it can' t tell you, since the stock price passed its ATH, as many as 1,000 retailers, especially those who bought high during the old days, had exited. Now there are less than 4,000 retail shareholders. Even during the AGM, there were less than 100 attendees (half were there hoping to get some freebies), only six asked questions..... You can also tell from this forum, there are few interest, except those mercenary clowns, who every day, thinking the price is already too high, are trying their best to find all sorts of ways to short the stock, thinking it' s easy money. I have already warned you enough, and can only say, the best is yet to be, for long termers of course...... Talking about clowns, there is no better word to refer to Malaysia' s Employees Provident Fund Board.....They cut its stake in AEM Holdings when the market was JUST turning bullish and even though the management came out to give guidance for a better year ahead. On March 2, EPF sold 6.45 million shares at an average of $2.97 each the following day, it sold another 1.9 million shares at $3.18 each. Imagine if they had sold last week, they would have gotten $40 millions more..... if only they have known or listened to the black market gangsters....... Meanwhile since ah tong refused to post any more news bites on AEM, maybe out of envy or getting lazy because he has exited, so boh piang, has to post these myself......but I must confess, these are NOT all there is, I juz happened to run across them, so I post them..... ah tong seems to better at digging up such news,,,,,, ========== BofA hikes 2026 chips forecast to $1.3 trillion, names Nvidia, Broadcom, Marvell, AMD as top drivers. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bofa-hikes-2026-chips-forecast-to-13-trillion-names-nvidia-broadcom-marvell-amd-as-top-drivers-164800203.html Semiconductor Industry Growth Exceeds $1.6 Trillion by 203 https://www.linkedin.com/posts/bill-wiseman-35a170_personally-ive-always-struggled-a-bit-with-activity-7419922260528058369-HQl5 Citigroup lifts AI market forecast to more than US$4.2 trillion.  This is due to faster-than-expected enterprise adoption of artificial intelligence tools for coding and automation https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/international/global/citigroup-lifts-ai-market-forecast-more-us4-2-trillion WHY THESE NEWS DEVELOPMENTS MATTER TO AEM AND UMS The surging semiconductor market signals a multi-year supercycle that directly benefits  AEM Holdings  and  UMS Integration  by fueling demand for critical testing and production hardware.
