Moya' s H1 profit up 23%Indonesian water treatment company Moya Holdings Asia posted S$20.4 million in net profit for the six months ended June 2021, up 23 per cent from the year-ago period.Earnings per share stood at 0.48 Singapore cent, up from 0.39 cent in the first half of 2020. The group' s net asset value per share was 7.95 Singapore cents for the period. Revenue for the period rose 8 per cent to S$125.4 million, up from S$115.9 million in H1 FY20, boosted by water sales to local water authorities in the cities of Bekasi and Tangerang in Java, as well as revenues from a water supply system in Batam, among other income streams. Gross earnings were also lifted due to cost-efficiency programmes implemented over the years, the group said in a bourse filing after trading hours on Wednesday. For the next 12 months, the group will focus on the organic growth of its unit PT Moya Tangerang, where the construction of a new water-treatment plant was completed in the first half of this year. Another unit, PT Aetra Air Jakarta, is in talks with government-owned asset holding company PAM Jaya on development plans for an existing cooperation scheme for Jakarta. The group said it is also looking to expand by participating in new tenders, as well as via mergers and acquisitions. Moya shares ended Wednesday up 1.39 per cent or 0.1 Singapore cent at 7.3 cents. |

Updates on Moya Asia ($0.070/$0.071) - the significant happening for yesterday is there was big sell down which cleared all $0.069 but then hidden buyers swamped in to protect $0.069 and then eat up $0.070 gradually before doing a nice weekly close at $0.071. - Chart wise, Moya is finally trading above the 4 years downtrend line (day/week/month) - MACD in nice green territory This quick recovery IMO, is strength in the counter, and likely because they are aiming upwards. With results coming out anytime this week, I expect some play and this week to be an exciting one, considering that Penny Leader JT ran yesterday which will wake up other sleeping pennies Do checkout the tele channel that I have gotten this information from! :).

The key is to secure the Jakarta water concession for this counter to rally...Look at its current profit after tax, and that' s after paying a hefty finance cost...if they get to renew the concession to 20-30 years, then it' s boom town charlie.. | ||

Last year results came 3rd Aug 20. (During the lunch break.) On that day 3rd Aug 2020, price opened $0.058, ran to $0.073 and closed $0.072. Recently Moya Asia did another failed break out before flushing out contra players again. This time round, I reckon the catalyst to break out should be the profitable results which should be announce no later than 14th Aug 21. If they follow last year 3rd Aug 20, it would be next Tuesday. PS: Did you know that the majority owner of Moya (more than 73%) is by Anthoni Salim of the Billionaire Salim group. His costs in this investment is about $0.07x if I got it correct. (Information gotten from the tele channel below - credits to them)
