Strong mgtm team is most important to carry out their plans.

And the following Mon, price will tank by BBs to vent their frustration, likely sink to 90-100. Followed by contra retailers who panic and stampede out to 80-90.
That will be very bad news in spite of super good result, like kongsi kena covid attack, lidat lah. Just like TG factories kena not many months ago.
If say div at 3c, still can tahan, anything less, is like going to be blown with the wind liao. Not nice to say, but whatodo, if other kongsis earning lesser can give so much, and MT earning so much but give so little. Anyway just opinion, not trying to scare contra hopefuls.laughfrown

Agree with u. Kongsi not likely to be so generous as STA or TG, as its CEO/Dir own a miserable total of ard 10.8%, unlike the huge holdings by STA and TG bosses.
If MT intends to give high % as its counterparts, it would hv made some prelim announcement about sharing its huge earnings in the last 1-2 weeks, rather than keeping silent while forumers prompt and prompt impatiently. Some even camping overnight for news.
Yeah, agree, at most 3-4 cents.Anyway that would be better than nothing, if the CFO can have his way.
But whatever said, think price will gradually rise to 120-130 by weekend. But if announcement of 10c div, then BBs likely to push above 150. And if it' s 1c div, BBs likely to push it down to below 100 or even 90.

STA gave a total div of 10c, and the price shot up by 40c. to 187
MT' s eps will likely be better than STA, and if it gives a div  > 10c, will the price stay at 113?
And if it give a miserable div say of 1c, will the price hold at 113?laughsad
