Hi Tochtoch, Quote This forum is meant to be a sharing blog, and every mkt participant whether big or small is always welcome to contribute to the blog as each and every one of us is in the game to make money whether long or short. Any way it is the first time I am chking on the "knowing too much" as I have invested interest in STA Thai but not STA Sing and have been following the differential between STA Thai and Sing. At least I can be ahead of the curve in doing my own due diligence and learning from my fellow bloggers forum contributions so that I can make my own judgemental call on STA market's direction and to be right on the mkt's direction so that I can put bread on the table for my family to enjoy!!! And this time around, I really appreciate Bro Linguist for helping me out as I am still relatively new to share investing but an international rubber trader using my commodity experience to apply to share investments which are two unique trade on its own looking at technicals and fundmentals. Mightbe this time around, I might have to attend a paid share investment course conducted by SGX experts to better understand the rudiments (inside out) of the share investment trade. Anyway to each his own, but hopefully this forum will bring about a wealth of information sharing as to help each of us to make a more right judgemental call the STA mkt's direction to make money. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I think it is overstated to add 29 fully to the 45. The 50+% value of STGT market cap is not realised in the balance sheet or income if not sold. What we know is STA shareholders will continue to get its share of the glove biz earnings which are expected to be very good. Vested and still very optimistic about the price direction. Monitor closely for further opportunities to buy.

STA 50.75% shares in STGT = 126.4B x 0.5075 = 64,148,000,000 725,037,300 shares = 50.75% 100% = Around 1.404B shares Value per share = Market Cap divide by total number of shares 64,148,000,000/1,404,000,000 = 45.689 baht STA Share Price + (STA 50.75% of STGT = 45.689) = 45.689+29=74.68 baht Is this a better calculation?? 74.68 baht is about SGD$3.2961 73.90 baht is about SGD$3.2617 Using 1 baht is to SGD$0.0441 (11 Aug 2020, 0148hrs) The calculation tells me the fair value should be at least  $3.20, From current price of  $1.31 to  $3.20 is about 144.275% increase!!

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Almost every stock investor have the same intent. that is to see the company' s share price climb up. even government hope to see share price up (without the illegal doings) too so that it means that companies are doing well in the country. And that' s why investors finds value to invest in US/UK stock market exchange, as their graph is always moving upwards. but SGX graph doesn' t move upwards with time. Because we have traders that prefer to trade and profit against the main intent of majority investors. I can understand the short-selling or naked short position when there is bad news. But short-selling on STA, a counter with so many positive news compared to negative? Er... x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I did a TA chart for STA SET, based on Elliott Wave Theory Wave 1 Start 9.00 Wave 1 End 32.80 Wave 2 End 23.40 Wave 3 Target if 161.8% of Wave 1 = 63.74 baht  Wave 3 Target if 200% of Wave 1 = 71 baht Wave 4 if retrace 38.2% of wave 4 (63.74 baht)  = 50.10 baht Wave 5 Target 100% of Wave 1 = 50.10+23.80 = 73.90 baht Based on Trend based Fibonacci Wave 3 estimated time to hit target price is around December 2020 to January 2021. But seeing 1,135,000 short-selling attempt made on Friday (almost double volume than Thurs) would probably mean that shorties trying to push price lower, but may have failed badly. (Thus the increase from 641,000 to 1,135,000). Avg. short sell price is 1.32 as reported on the page,  Thus I agree with you that probably shorties did not cover their open short on Fri. And that would echo why triton will want to short first thing tomorrow morning, so that market price may go lower for him to carry his buy back with profit instead of loss. A risky move as price movement is uncertain on first opening of week. The risk is even higher now that it first opening is on Tues, with Monday SET-STA has risen.  Thanks for your sharing. He says look at Supermax result today up US$97 net profit latest about 6 times their previous quarters and you will the get the answer to STGT coming few quarters results. His current price target for STGT about 100 Baht and to wait for new price target revisions provided by banks and brokerage houses few days after 2nd quarter result is out. He said recently smaller volume traded on STGT was due to full margin requirement imposed by most brokerage houses besides Thai Rubber Latex company was affected as well. But no full margin imposed on STA trading. He says to stay invested in STA for few more quarters due to huge STGT earning contributions besides due to the recent steady rise in rubber prices from a low for TSR 20 of 106 uscts/kg to last friday high of 133.2 uscts/kg. Better times ahead for STA and his present target above all time high of 41.2 Baht equivalent to STA at S$1.82.

If you are investing in STA  (till at least end FY20), then I think the price target should be much, much higher. If you are into gloves, whether in Malaysia, or Thailand or China or any part of the world, the supernormal performance is the norm for a foreseeable period. Let' s see how high this one can fly.
