x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Cannot say for the majority of ah peks or aunties but I have 2 relatives holding SIA shares. They have worked in SATS for more than 25 years and held both SATS and SIA shares. SIA shares they have bought in the 10+ era and also bought in around 7+. The MCB to them is useless because now after retirement they have no wish to pump in their money which is used for their daily expenses now. Shares they are making paper loss, possibly no dividends in the years to come and possibly face further dilution in the shareprice once MCB exercise in coming years.  Both of them was agitated during the initial capital raising exercise but have resigned to fate this time round. Assuming the percentage of MCB subscribe is 4% of the total MCB ( $6,196,793,517 ) = 247,871,740 On 8 June 2030, the total value is 247,871,740 x 1.69797 = 420,878,778 The total number of new SIA shares will be 420,878,778 / 4.84 = 86,958,425 Therefore market will be floaded with 86 million shares - not billions ! How many MCB' s will each player buy? The usual retal player is not going to buy millions of MCB Perhaps a few will buy 2 million MCB So how many shares will he get with 2 million MCB?
