Better to stay invested as bank interest is peanuts!!! But please do not over commit as better to leave some cash for a rainy day.

Be mindful of the differential basis currency at 0.4415 so as not to let the straddlelists or arbitrageurs to capitalise against you as you may be a jobber or a day trader and may have to liquidate before the end trading day. At S$1.35 equal 30.50 baht but STA yesterday closed at 28.50. If possible, let STA Thai lead the mkt as STA Thai is a Thai listed company. For now STA Thai short term technicals look much better than STA Sing.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Food for thought as to layman's mathematical calculation on STA share price: Mother share price is normally 20% discounted to spinned off company share price. Take STGT at 88.50 baht at disciunted price to derive at 70.80. STA owns 56% including Rubberland (set up company to enjoy added tax incentives) to derive at 39.65. Using STA's rubber competitor Halcyon Company share price at S$0.23 at current exchange 0.04415 to derive at 5.20 baht. Add 39.65 and 5.25 to derive at 44.85 Baht as a hypothetical basis to make my own judgemental call. Mkt is always right but may not think the way we want to think as mkt has a mind of its own to root out the winners as well as losers. With the mathematical count in mind as my basis, I will normally wait for the latest results on earnings as brokerage houses and bankts will downgrade or upgrade target price basis earnings. At least, thereafter I can make the necessary adjustment to my STA portfolio to suit mkt conditions to try to be more right than wrong in my mkt assessment. All said, mkt is always right and never wrong!!! 44.85 baht target price will be my short term objective by end sept 2020. Anyway the medium to long term of STA technical chart pattern is up as Elliott Wave Pattern has a big ABCDE pattern with Wave D at 27 baht being broken up to test the 32.75 high before the short term pullback climax at 23.40 and now on its way to breaking above 41.2 wave B the all time 2011 high probably hitting my target of 44.85. Let's see how it will pan out before end sept.
