Thank you General Chris. I am glad you like it. A stock forum need not always, as in most cases, be boring and dry. We can spice it up a little to make stock discussions more interesting. Instead of saying BUY and SELL, we can say JEEP and unJEEP. Instead of saying SHORT-SELL a stock, we can say " torpedoes launched" or " bombs away !!!"  Trading/investing in the stock market is to some extent similar to waging war. In this war, there are many battles to fight. Each fight with one stock is one battle. All the battles put together make up the war, ie. our trading/investment journey in the stock market. Sometimes we lose a battle. That' s okay. In war, there are always casualties. It is unavoidable. We can lose a battle. Or two. But dont lose the war. To stay in this game for the long run, we must eventually prevail and emerge victorious. A picture says a thousand words. Moving pictures say lots lots more. So why not? I am sure most of the Folks here like it that way.

3.77 : 3.78 now is macam like our PIE during morning rush hour. Got congestion coz Chin Chway Chia. Everybody going to work. There is some hesitation now as those who want to buy do a wait-and-see to see whether got weak holders want to sell down the price for them and do them a favour or not. If no have, then they Boh Pian will LL all come out to join the queue and some will queue at the BUY side and take some from the SELL side first to CHOPE their seats in this bus. Later if still no sign of selling then more and more buyers will Kam Guan that no more cheap sale and will come out of hiding from the sidelines to buy. |

Battle Update From The War Room My conservative target price for this Dividend Run is 3.85 to 3.95. Last High was 4.00. So far, the battle is progressing well and the latest Status Report from frontline commanders tells us morale is high and our boys are set to achieve their mission objective to capture at least Hill 3.85 and probably Hill 3.95 by eve of XD. I noticed that in 2016 and 2015, her XD for the December Dividend Play was on a Monday on both occasions. This means most likely her XD date is on a Monday on 18 Dec 2017. After her result was announced in the morn on Thu, 9 Dec 2017, those who had planned to sell no matter what, have sold. We saw how that selling caused the price to dip to 3.71 where she bottomed out. After that, the most aggressive of bargain hunters jumped in to grab at 3.71 to 3.73 and they were rewarded for their courage. From then on, we witnessed how the panic selling stopped and a steady stream of bargain hunters emerging from the sidelines to support the price. Every time sellers dried up, buyers grabbed from those in the SELL queue and pushed the price up 1 bid. This process was repeated and bid by bid, the Bull Army drove the Bear Army back. By end of Friday, the Bull Army managed to push the Bear Army back by 7 cts from the bottom to close at 3.78 after touching 3.79. So what' s next? I expect to see the Bull Army continues with its push to drive the Bear Army back towards the North. The process which we saw on last Thu and Fri, we will continue to see that being repeated as the price rises from 3.78 to 3.90. During the push from 3.71 to 3.78, we didnt see any pullback. What we saw was the price climbing steadily taking out sellers level by level. In the 2nd phase of the battle when the price moves from 3.78 to 3.90, I expect to see some intermittent pullbacks on the way up. During the initial Phase 1 of a battle when the price rises, we wont see much profit taking by short term traders as there is not much meat to take. But when the battle progresses to Phase 2 and profits become a little meatier, some short term traders will start to take profits. When they do so, it translates into intraday pullbacks. These pullbacks are healthy. They allow fresh players some of whom are the very traders who sold to take profit, to join this ride or re-enter. This provides fuel for the rally to propel the stock higher. Each pullback allows fresh players to hop onto this train to generate thrust to catapult the price higher. So do expect to see intraday pullbacks during Phase 2 of the battle but do not worry. Watch the price action during those pullbacks. Is the profit taking well absorbed? If bargain hunters continue to pounch on those pullbacks which I expect they will, the selling will be well absorbed and the pullbacks will be shallow and shortlived. Join in the battle. Dont miss the boat.

Yup. Likely she will gap up at pre-closing to close at 3.80 or 3.81. Those of you who plans to sell to lock in your profits to enjoy the weekend... wait for pre-closing to get a better price. And those of you who wants to buy, buy now will probably be cheaper than to wait for pre-closing. Now Showing 3.78 : 3.79 with 2750 buyers and 1866 sellers.

Buying a little slower today becoz of the " Friday Effect" . Typically on Fridays, short term traders like to square off their positions. This translates into more selling on a Friday than on Monday to Thursday. More selling is like more braking pressure applied to the price. That' s why the rise is slower on a Friday. Come Monday, we will see her fly.
