Oil steadies after report of planned Opec+ August output hikeOil prices edged up slightly on Friday (Jun 27), recovering from a midday drop into negative territory following a report that Opec+ was planning to hike production in August, but tumbled about 12 per cent in the week in their biggest drop since March 2023. Brent crude futures settled at US$67.77 a barrel, up four cents or 0.1 per cent. Any bounce will be good to short
No hard feelings. Rex has been good but this is stock market. Rex will need to tread down till a point whereby the fundamental will support it. I guess it will be 15. 18 is the series I long said. Now it is in low band. So it will slowly tread down or may have a sudden crash. Nobody knows. But any rebound will be good to short unless macro turns otherwise. Oil price is coming to the right level where it is supported by the fundamental demand such as China US trade agreement boosting real and sustainable demand. Hope an end to Gaza and Ukraine war towards rebuilding. Macro should not be war mongerjng for now. Rex will be about 15/16. BB I am sure they are still stucked and may find ways to get out. Not sure what their calculus and algorithms are. But anyway, chill. It s weekend. Yawn.
