The only company which most senior knew is Global foundries, who bought Chartered Semi Conductor (CSM) in early 2010 for $ 3.9 Billions and they are located in Singapore too and they had  gone thru  similar deal  with ST(TH) before....................GF is JV of AMD and ATIC from Abu Dhabi. all the above is just my view only.  i really hope the deal can conculde soon...............sian keep on waiting.
