there is no bad news. is just FII booking hending their positions, very typical when a major catalysr around the corner with earnings due. This is will shake out the wek hands, especially those who bought into the recent rally especially in the 3.5+ range. Some will get shaken out.

YZJ was the second highest sell by institutions last week. Prior to that for a few weeks if featured regularly amongst the top 10 institutional buys. The consolation is that volume is lower today. Let' s see if we are at the end of the selling?

The Milan-listed owner said its operating arm, d?Amico Tankers, has signed a shipbuilding contract with China?s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding (YZJ) for two 50,000 dwt MR2 newbuildings at $45.4m apiece. The vessels are due for delivery in March and June 2029. The deal also includes options for up to two more ships of the same design, exercisable within two months. The latest order follows a contract signed late last year with Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) for two MR1 product tankers of 40,000 dwt, priced at $43.2m each and scheduled for delivery in April and July 2029. Options were also attached to that agreement.

just follow the volume trend along with price decline. The volumes are normal with no significant spikes. Shows that this is sustained selling by a investment house who had picked up position while it drove up to ATH. When the selling exhausts this will turn up and drive up fast. Is building up to an exiting time with results about a month away.

As i said earlier YZJ is cornered by several big players. If you see the trades, it moves 400-500 lots at one time and in between only 100 or so lots get traded in 15-20 mins. Easily manipulated and i believe right now the BBs decided to bring it for yet another roller coaster ride to maximise their profits without any change in fundamentals. It is the man in the street who is left scratching his head wondering what is going on and whether there is any negative news.

The company will not so SBB right now. The correction right now is only because BB are shorting and exiting positions, and not because the sentiment is negetive. You can keep adding at these levels for medium to long term. The reversal will be fast and furious.
