If trading continue tmr...best to just watch. For those daring....trade with caution...price tend to fluactuate and end lower each day. Last close was 0.186. Things are not normal as Sgx hv found out connected accounts trading with one another pushing up the price and bringing it down Share manipulation is.a serious offence...punishable by law Time will tell .who are involved and how will it affect Metech.... |

 SGX RegCo questions Metech International sharesThe stock saw a contradicting rise of 51%, despite the STI observing a dip of 4.2% during the period. Metech International Limited saw a trading query issued by the Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX Regco) regarding its shares. In the query, SGX Regco highlighted the share price of Metech rising by 51% to $0.375 on 21 December 2021, from a recorded value of $0.245 on 1 November 2021. This was despite the Straits Time Index dipping by 133.97 points or 4.2% during this period. Metech responded to this query by referencing an earlier announcement dated 24 September 2021, which talked about its subsidiary&rsquo s joint venture agreement regarding the lab-grown diamonds industry. Shareholder approval was obtained on 11 January 2022. On 21 December 2021, a high of $0.375 was reached but fell accordingly to $0.21 on 19 January 2022. This was again in contract with the STIm which climbed by 198.86 points, or 6.5% in the same period. A review by SGX Regco found that a group of accounts were responsible for 54% of the buy volume from 1 November to 21 December 2021, and 51% of sell volume from 22 December 2021 to 19 January 2022 in Metech shares. The individuals behind the accounts appear to be connected, with them trading Metech shares with each other. SGX RegCo is currently reviewing the trades in Metech shares, and will bring in the appropriate authorities where warranted. |

Statutory authorities of Sgxregco
Is MAS CAD. They are the ones regulating manipulating of shares. Kindly explain why share price collapse when Sgx issued trade with caution if there is no left right left right actions inside Metech. The feeling of feeling hopeful of a good outcome I can understand but sad to say it will not play up again. Move on bah |

SINGAPORE' S bourse watchdog has issued a " trade with caution" alert on Catalist-listed Metech International, and is reviewing trades in Metech shares. That' s as recent trades were driven by individuals who appear to be connected with one another, Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) said on Thursday (Jan 20). SGX RegCo noted that Metech' s share price surged by 51 per cent from Nov 1, 2021 to a high of S$0.375 on Dec 21, 2021, then fell by 44 per cent by Jan 19, 2022. In both cases, the price activity was in contrast with the direction of the benchmark Straits Times Index. SGX RegCo also queried Metech on Dec 20, 2021 about " unusual volume movements in its shares" , and was referred by Metech to a previous announcement on business diversification. The watchdog has now found that a group of accounts was behind more than half of the buy volume in the November-to-December period, and more than half the sell volume afterwards. " Individuals behind the group of accounts appear to be connected. The individuals within this group traded Metech shares with each other," SGX RegCo reported. " SGX RegCo is reviewing the trades in Metech shares and will take the necessary actions, including referring the case to statutory authorities where warranted." SGX RegCo is urging investors and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in Metech shares. Metech closed on Thursday at S$0.25, up S$0.04 or 19.1 per cent, with about 6.6 million shares changing hands, before the trading alert was issued. |

In actual fact, no reason for legit holders to sell like this since they are above board in their trades. So far the diamond business itself sounds solid so no harm holding to see. This should be the work of shortists. If the company wishes to teach them a lesson, can just hoot it up and the shortists will uplorry.

wanted to keep this initally but managed to notice red flags so cleared all at average 340 on 5Jan.. could have earned more if sold at high of 370.. but make less better than make loss.. never fall in love with any stocks.. once see red flag better change plan and take profit..

actually without the bbs, syndicates whatever you want to call it, penny stocks will just stagnant and untradeable if it can only move up on solid fundamentals. most people who depend on the market will have to eat grass. pennies are pennies for a reason. it cuts both ways . | ||||
