Boss, for long term, weaker STI means people scare scare, price for good stocks drop.    No sign of bad economy, so when price drop, pick up good stocks cheaply.    Punting can be good for those chionging.  Like Allied Tech now, you long a 100,000 shares, 1 cent movement gives you 1000 bucks.  Capital 7,500?    Possibly can make some kopi money, as the stock is hot.    To me it' s not yet a good potential stock for long term hold yet, speculative stock, but can earn some pocket money

Hard to say, for myself, I am going to be cautiously aggressive.  Meaning, still buy, but take profit quickly.  If kenna stuck, must be stocks with good potential, otherwise cut loss quickly and move on.    Even penny stocks can have good and really hopeless gone case ones.        For those gone case ones, still can do punting but only hold one week to two weeks at most.      For penny stocks with good potential, can hold for long term, no issue, only buy when market corrects, not when market is red hot and charging.    that' s my strategy for 2018, but still can modify.

From my scan - So many Analysts and houses calling for STI to hit 3700-3800pts range by end 2018. They also say Brown Dog year will be good for prosperity and wealth. That?s like over 10% from current - excluding dividend even. Looks like there are many vested interests in this occurrence. Seems like self-fulfilling prophecy. Views??

Bitcoin cash fell from its session highs on Wednesday, briefly trading back below $4,000, after Coinbase-owned GDAX restarted trading in the bitcoin offshoot.

The digital currency fell near $3,330 in afternoon trading following the news, but had recovered to $4,184 as of 5:22 p.m., ET, up about 45 percent over the last 24 hours, according to Coinbase. Bitcoin itself fell about 8 percent to $16,130, the website data showed.

Coinbase said late Wednesday afternoon ET that it was allowing bitcoin cash buys and sells, although the service was paused as of publication.
 


The company had originally halted bitcoin cash trading as it waited for " sufficient liquidity" to reach the cryptocurrency.

Trading in bitcoin cash launched Tuesday on GDAX at 7:20 p.m., ET, before being suspended after only four minutes as a lack of sellers caused high volatility. Many tweets showed Coinbase charts temporarily indicated bitcoin cash was trading well above $8,000.

Bitcoin cash was created on Aug. 1, when Hong Kong-based digital currency exchange Bitfinex said a group of bitcoin miners would be " forking" from the main bitcoin to create a new version that trades faster and more easily.

The new digital currency has had a staggering run higher ever since it split off, rising more than 780 percent in that time period.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has  warned investors  to be on the lookout for " potential scams" involving Initial Coin Offerings.

ICOs are sometimes called " crowdsales" and function similarly to an Initial Public Offering on the stock market, but without the governmental regulation. They typically receive investments in the form of cryptocurrency in exchange for shares known as tokens. But  ICOs can be for any sort of startup -- they don' t necessarily have to be for cryptocurrency companies.
