Good if they dont get 90 but get above 80%. In that case chances of higher offer OR continue listing. But wont be anymore shortist attack as the free flow will be lot less. In any case likely to see 29-30c after tomorrow. | ||||

They will not get 90% by tomorrow to delist or take it private ! Before the extension only 71.95% acceptance as at 29Dec2016. They held 55.6% & only 16.3% acceptance on its offer price at 24cts They just trying to play delay tactics hoping people will throw in their towels. We as small shareholders will not give in easily!

Trust what I see for yourself... Do not rush into actions recommended by the IFA & ID... They have vested interest to ask us to sell.. I am holding on a NO SELL until I think the price is right for me. I accepted last round at 1,22 when they first acquired it, now only offering 0.24 ! Unless they can force to exercise the Compulsory Acquisition.I am holding it at cheap cost this round so I can play along with it This happened to Biosensor last time which i have compulsory sold it to CITIC group taking it private when Biosensor was on a recovery track which was a disappoinment! Small shareholders are always taken for a ride ! |

The offer itself is a joke considering the market price now and future prospects of Vard. Obviously the IFA and IDs plus management all sleeping and just wanted to pull a fast one on the shareholders. |

I am definitely not accepting the offer. I won' t be surprised if the percentage acceptance at the close of the extended deadline is below that at end Dec. Shareholders who accepted can withdraw their acceptance! |

with STI running high, and oil rising, no way to sell to them... if they cannot get the required %, 2 options 1. They may increase the price. 2. Vard may continue trading in the STI if option 2, means the price will go up close to 30c.. already market price is above the offer, i dont think anyone will consider selling them... i am not going to sell to them... |

From the TA point of view, macd & histogram are in positive zone as well as EMA 8, EMA 21 & EMA 55 all are pointing upward, therefore, Vard is likely continues upward momentum and likely to test the recent high of 29 cents. Good risk and reward. DYODD. |

Rome was not build in a day .... n so was Vard. I share ur view that Vard has a lot more intrinsic value than meets the eye. It' s really cheapo if we view it from this angle.

I believe is market anticipation that this VGO will fail and price will shoot above 24cts. Although IFA advise to sell but most of us here (we are still market participants and do reflect some market thinking here even though small small only) do believe VARD can be worth than any other SGX listed peers. If failed, VARD likely spike up to break earlier high of 29cts.

It is good to see market price above 24 cents. As mentioned before that shareholders should not sell their shares to the offeror for so low price. |
