If BBs dont want to use too much of their own $ to buy out all the shares, what they can do is simply tie up with a fund management buy out company to make an Offer together, privatize, restructure AND RELIST : )
Maybe in HK , SHENZHEN OR SHANGHAI.

I suspect ZSJ is going to privatize Yanlord. You see, you go into listing companies for 1. Funds raising 2. "Profile" status 3. Creating more weath thru share price appreciation e.g. Nanofilm IPO $2.50++ now doubled. Founders wealth now doubled and worth more than $1.8 billions. That's why have $$$$$ to buy Nassim GCB at more than $100 mil : ) But you see, Yanlord has been listed in SGX for a long time. Purpose 1 and 2 achieved. Yanlord now has grown into a very reputable brandname in China, esp in Jiangsu and Shanghai. But point 3 : more wealth creation thru stock price appreciation , purpose not achieved. So if your stock price is 6X your NAV , you sell : ) But if your stock price is 0.33 your NAV, you buy and ultimately ? PRIVATIZE AND DELIST TO EXTRACT VALUE. | ||||

Watch this Yanlord closely. Suggest : Buy and Hold Why ? 2 things Yanlord can do : 1. With UE (Singapore Assets) in its pockets, Yanlord can do a restructioning a la Capitaland to "extract share value" OR 2. With Yanlord ZSJ holding abt 70% holdings, and with his relationship wih delisted Perennial Kuok (remember theur UE JV ?), Yanlord may follow Perennial footsteps to privatize, delist from SGX. | ||||
