The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of UPP Holdings Limited (the “Company” or “UPP”) wishes to announce that the Company has today entered into a memorandum of understanding (the “MOU”) with Myan Shwe Pyi Limited (“MSPL”), a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, pursuant to which the parties intend to establish a joint venture company to be incorporated in Myanmar (the “JV Co”), whereby each of MSPL (or its assignee) and the Company (through a wholly owned subsidiary to be established in Singapore, the “UPP Subsidiary”) will hold shareholding interests in the JV Co in the proportions of 33% and 67% respectively. The JV Co will subsequently purchase certain assets and contracts (the “Relevant Assets”) from MSPL for the purpose of carrying on the business of the conduct of quarry operations and the provision of engineering services in relation thereto. The establishment of the JV Co and the subsequent purchase of the Relevant Assets are hereinafter referred to as the “Transaction”. Subsequent to the entry into of the MOU, definitive transaction documents (“Definitive Agreements”), including a joint venture agreement for the establishment of the JV Co, a sale and purchase agreement and other documents deemed by the parties as necessary or advisable for the Transaction will be entered into in due course. Har? What sell-down effect? care to elaborate what you mean? I always note that practically all stock prices dip at XD date, untill the stock price is on a very strong uptrend in price.

Papa Smurf seems very confident of this stock since the m'sian tycoon taking over as the CEO from Mr Koh.. The paper industry indeed has massive potential in the long run, Perhaps their environmental sentiments still in hidden agenda, which may take the company to a greater height in future! Based on TA, the stock seems going up to a certain point, probably aiming for $0.50 in the near future. 2500 lots were bought at $0.440 and I supposed this BB must be out for a BIG appetite! MACD blue line hasn't crossed down red line, suggesting continual uptrend and heading upwards in a way. May be retracted next week for a correction before pumping UP again. Watch this closely, potential investors / traders out there.. :D | ||||
