I have observed some good signs in China ports. I am also satisified with HPH' s answer to my questions.  HPH Trust already hinted to me.   

Ignore any daily noises by shortists. Importantly, longists keep invested for long term to earn high dividend every 6 months.

Yes bro! You are right. I am very positive on this also.
The signs are there that this counter is doing well. To make an aim to repay the bank loan in every 6 months, it shows confidence of an upside in their earnings and cash flow management.

Although Dividends in the past was being cut constantly previously, that was a form of cash flow management, to satisfy the interest fees by cutting dividends. It is logical to do that in any bad circumstances, cut the fingers to save the arm.

I feel sorry for those who bought previously at high price and unable to hold, rough patches happens. But for now, all the signs are very positive that this is going to take flight.

According to Q& A and minutes of HPH Trust announced yesterday, Yantian port volume was down by 16% in 2019 year on year while Kwai Tsing (HK) ports decreased by 4%. US' s Revoking of HK special trading status have not much impact on HK ports. According to 2019 Hk port statistic data, there are total 400,000 TEU including imports, re-exports, exports. It is less than 3% of HPH' s Kwai Tsing (HK) ports so it is considered to be insignificant.

To date, Yantian Port exceeded 10% according to June 2020 report. HPH Trust have been in good progress of improvement in this port volume, making more revenue and net profit. I am looking forward to receiving positive half-year financial result on this side.  Dividend yield is much higher than all REITS cos it has the highest base of 50cents to $1 in brisk and robust port volumes previously. It is interesting to note that HPH Trust has made efforts to reduce heavy bank loan every year. HPH Trust' s aim to balance dividend payment and bank loan repayment in every 6 months.

The container volume of eight major Chinese ports increased 2.5% year-on-year during the period of mid-June.


Container volume at major Chinese ports up 3.5% in late June
In June, container volume at hub ports increased 0.57% year-on-year, recovering to the same level of last year&rsquo s.

FY2019 Q3 Report
EPS (HKD)0.0267, USD0.0034

Back then, in 2019 the low price was 0.145.

FY2019 Annual Report
FY2019 EPS HKD)0.0606, USD 0.0078

The increased port volume are showing signs of recovery matching that of the same last year, we should be able to see an upside of this counter to at least a 2019 low price of 0.145 or more.

More will unveil itself when the bi-annual report is out in August 2020. But however, with the COVID19 impacting the EPS, the more accurate EPS will be by next year 2021 bi-annual report.

If we were to assume that each quarter, the EPS is consistent, that would be USD0.0034 * 4 = USD 0.0136, (HKD) 0.1054 whereby this matches the EPS of 2017 at (HKD) 0.108.
Thus, this counter should easily soar to that of 2017, which was a low price of  0.4, otherwise a conservative assumption would be at least a 0.2 price by next June 2021.

I believe that the fall of the share price wa largely attirbuted to the shortist, since it was the shortist top favourite counter. Thus the price today does not corelate to the company' s actual earnings.

Yes Longists should stay vested for so long. Shortists will be stuck since they loved to short this counter from $1 down all the way to 11 Cents.

If HPH management changed from full year annual report to a bi-annual report, this shows that they are confident of their earnings or that the stock price does not corelate to their business.

This counter should be going to undergo price correction (to the high side).

The container volume of eight major Chinese ports increased 3.57% in late June comped to mid-June.


Container export volumes increased 3.11% comparing to mid-June. The growth rate of Dalian port, Guangzhou port and SCCT terminal of Shenzhen port exceeded 10%. The domestic container volume increased 4.83%.

In June, container volume at hub ports increased 0.57% year-on-year, recovering to the same level of last year&rsquo s.

Cargo throughput at major coastal ports increased 4.3% year-on-year, the export cargo throughput increased 7.25%.

Crude oil shipments at major coastal ports increased 33.9% year-on-year in late June, while the port inventories increased 28.9%.

Metal ore shipments at major ports increased 5.83% year-on-year, among which the growth rate of Tianjin port and Rizhao port exceeded 20%, while inventory volume declined 10.5%.

In late June, the port throughput and container volume of three major Yangtze river ports, Nanjing, Wuhan and Chongqing declined 5.5% and 5.1% year-on-year.

 Alert Admin 		Hong Kong &rsquo s rallying stock market is defying  predictions  of the death of the city in the wake of a new security law.

  The Hang Seng Index jumped 7.8% in the three days after the law was imposed on July 1, its biggest rally since April 2015, and  entered  a bull market on Monday. The advance was led by mainland Chinese firms listed locally, with Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. and China Life Insurance Co. jumping more than 29%, but Hong Kong firms have also seen sharp gains. The benchmark slipped 0.3% Tuesday, with volume almost three times the average for this time of day.

  A sudden  rally  in mainland equities and a strengthening yuan have stimulated investor appetite for Hong Kong shares, which were recently the cheapest relative to the U.S. since at least 2005. But regardless of the cause, a rising stock market will bolster claims by officials that the new law would restore both  stability  and prosperity to a city that has been wracked by protests.

  Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam said Tuesday that the city &rsquo s financial markets have responded positively to the national security law. That&rsquo s at least the second time since May that Lam publicly attributes rising stock prices to the legislation, saying it reflects improving business confidence.
