 Alert Admin 		Bro. Thanks for supporting view. I felt sorry for those who have suffered huge losses although i have made a good fortune out of this saga. Always remember when people are chasing up the share prices, it is time to sell at resistance level. Reversely, when the market is dumping the share price at ridiculously low price, it is time to buy at the strongest historical support levels & u will never be wrong. Just my humble advice. Cheers.

The previous sell down from the top could have triggered a panic sell in the market which is fueled by fake rumours...This led to a major plunge within 2 days. Price movements like this is beyond what the company can control...hence there could be nothing to clarify about the drop. Speculation on price movement is not uncommon and will always be around. However, if you guys noticed, the clarification from the CEO came when baseless rumours involved personal attacks and slanderous remarks on the CEO and his management which discredit the efforts the team had put in to build up the company all these years. Now that the CEO had made his clarification public, I felt he was gentleman enough to pursue on the right issues that restore fairness to all stakeholders. If those who had made untrue comments here and think they were really speaking the truth, why would they want to leave this thread? Again, what are those people trying to show?

Oceanus refutes rumours of ' pump-and-dump' scheme, financial investigation and move to Catalist

OCEANUS Group on Friday refuted rumours about a purported move to the Catalist board, an investigation into the group' s financials, and its management being in a " pump-and-dump" scheme of the group' s shares, calling them " untrue and misleading information" .
The seafood supplier also said it will investigate the circumstances surrounding the information which has been circulating on instant messaging platforms and online forums, and pursue " all legal avenues" including but not limited to lodging civil suits and police reports.
According to Oceanus' bourse filing on Friday, one of the rumours claims that there is an application by the company to transfer itself from the Singapore Exchange' s (SGX) mainboard to the Catalist board. Oceanus said that this is not true, as it is seeking to exit the SGX' s watch list based on the financial exit criteria.
Another rumour claims that Oceanus' financial accounts are " inaccurate" and currently subject to investigations by the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD). However, Oceanus said that it is not aware of any investigations by the CAD.
Also, the company' s independent auditors, who are currently in the advanced stages of finalising their audit of the company' s financial statements for the year ended Dec 31, 2020, have not raised material concerns in respect of the financial statements.
To a third rumour claiming that Oceanus is seeking a mandatory suspension of the trading of its shares, the company said it is " not true" and that " there is no basis" for the statement.
Oceanus also refuted a rumour that its chief executive and management are colluding with institutional investors in a " pump-and-dump" scheme of the company' s shares, saying it is " not true" and that " there is no basis" for the statement.
The group&rsquo s clarifications come as its shares hit a new low for the year to date on Wednesday, continuing a downward spiral that started earlier this month.  Oceanus shares fell to an intra-day low of S$0.019  on Wednesday.
They have since rebounded and closed up 24.14 per cent at S$0.036 on Friday

I like the way you think, these are more meaningful questions. People here tend to deceive themselves and don' t look real.

The huge selldown is not because of rumours, it is the cause of rumours. This is UNUSUAL profit taking NOT normally seen in an orderly market and especially for a company with such growth story. That' s why it alerts me.

I will leave for a while, what I want to say have been said, last few words:

1. Read through every piece of my response. I don' t want you to lose money, I want retail investors to beat big money. Think deep.
2. You can trust management but never treat management like god or your life saver. They are representative of capital, and capital are bloody greedy.
3. Focus on hard numbers, both historical and projection. DON' T be just a story follower.

The last two sessions of share prices trading gained, it appears more likely as a technical re-bound after a major selldown of few billions shares in the open market last week. It is unlikely that these few billions shares selldown are from retailers & more likely from big investors (BBs). That being the case, why do they (BBs) want to sell their shares as low as 0.019, if the share price can shoot up & go beyond 0.08...? Is the current share price sustainable of such a high P/E ratio? Are these big investors (BBs) less smart & don't know how to do their sum? Why don't these big investors (BBs) verified the facts before selling their shares which worth billion of dollars instead of listening to rumours? Why did the clarification was not done immediately on the day when there is a sudden sharp drop of share price from 0.078 to 0.042?

Bro you relax, I took a screenshot of every Single Post by that person liao, alongside a few others on SJ and INS. They are crazy. I mean we cann all shout UP or DOWN, but some of the crazy statements made, cause so many shareholders to sell fast, crashing the price.

Oceanus refutes rumours of ' pump-and-dump' scheme, financial investigation and move to Catalist
OCEANUS Group on Friday refuted rumours about a purported move to the Catalist board, an investigation into the group' s financials, and its management being in a " pump-and-dump" scheme of the group' s shares, calling them " untrue and misleading information" .
 
The seafood supplier also said it will investigate the circumstances surrounding the information which has been circulating on instant messaging platforms and online forums, and pursue " all legal avenues" including but not limited to lodging civil suits and police reports.
 
According to Oceanus' bourse filing on Friday, one of the rumours claims that there is an application by the company to transfer itself from the Singapore Exchange' s (SGX) mainboard to the Catalist board. Oceanus said that this is not true, as it is seeking to exit the SGX' s watch list based on the financial exit criteria.
 
Another rumour claims that Oceanus' financial accounts are " inaccurate" and currently subject to investigations by the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD). However, Oceanus said that it is not aware of any investigations by the CAD.
 
Also, the company' s independent auditors, who are currently in the advanced stages of finalising their audit of the company' s financial statements for the year ended Dec 31, 2020, have not raised material concerns in respect of the financial statements.
 
To a third rumour claiming that Oceanus is seeking a mandatory suspension of the trading of its shares, the company said it is " not true" and that " there is no basis" for the statement.
 
Oceanus also refuted a rumour that its chief executive and management are colluding with institutional investors in a " pump-and-dump" scheme of the company' s shares, saying it is " not true" and that " there is no basis" for the statement.
 
The group&rsquo s clarifications come as its shares hit a new low for the year to date on Wednesday, continuing a downward spiral that started earlier this month. Oceanus shares fell to an intra-day low of S$0.019 on Wednesday.

 Alert Admin 		Hopefully trading house will do away restriction soon and price move up. But do not chase when price is too high just to be on the safe side. Gd luck!

 Alert Admin 		I see, thanks for the info. I guess contra player/trader is a common place in stock market. I think probably is the magnitude of the price rises within short period of months (with volume) and falls sharply within days (with volume) that affected trading house and remisier?

This one may be them trying to prevent the unfortunate thing from happening by contra players.   Must be before many contra players had problems paying and the trading houses had to " help them" force sell (more likely at a loss).   Also it was a lot of work and this pushed down the market.    

So they push the risk to the respective remisers and asked them to access the financial strength of the individual investors/traders and bear the risk (and do the exta work) if they help the investors/traders/speculators purchase.

I submitted to purchase at 1.5 cents within x days but was rejected.   Then the rep from my remiser called me to inform that I had to go through him (or my remiser) to purchase.

I am still down from my Oceanus purchases and felt restricted by the restrictions therefore did not attempt to buy more.   Also got my fingers burnt a little ( never had so high paper loss investing in share before in Singapore ) so shying away from it.

It seems many trading house still have trading restriction, wonder when they will lift. I have no problem with my vickers.
