it is true .. dyna mac any typical day , the buying is unenthusiastic wan... as 90% is controlled by BB ... so little shares out in public hands But once the BB come in.. HAHAHA.. only 10c.. what' s there to lose ? Don' t follow me .. i am dangerous |

dyna-mac maybe small but with temasek support is feasible. beside the ceo of dm understand the entire operation of kc oil and gas division. in this aspect, i have agreed with you fully but not keppel acquiring dyna-mac. instead dyna-mac to acquire kc oil and gas and morph to become a larger outfit.

togther as a merge entity with dyna mac.. they can achieve more since Dyna mac already a FPSO specialist ... and keppel and temasek already owns so much stake in it all future FPSO projects if in new merge entity can be handle by dyna mac |

Bro, i understand your view. I am working in Marine industry.. 20 years as owner rep. Now every oil and gas major company is jumping into renewable energy. Singapore yard is also focus on renewable energy going forward. At least SCM and Keppel has managed to clinch at least 1 renewable energy project, but DM still do not have anything to show. But your strategic hold to load up is also correct, if they managed to clinich 1 renewable project. It should send the price up. But my view is, Keppel and SCM possiblity of merging is bigger as they need to fight international for projects. The 2 big country they are fighting is Korea and China. So if they merger, they will have the ablity to get the whole project, Hull and topside module. So i think DM is not in the list as DM is mostly focus on topside module which Keppel and SCM is capable of doing it also.

dyna mac is too small to even think about acquring Keppel O& M... it should be the other way around then merger even if you want dyna mac to acquire Keppel O& M ... keppel corp and temasek has to buy up all stakes in Dyna mac before they can truly be in control |

wencong76, is right. just cannot see the synergy of it. observe kc and dm move up in tandem but not scm what if dm acquire kc o& g and then merger. more plausible ' cos kc and temasek already have a stake in dm but that won' t be good for minority sh

Anyway , i loaded on dyna mac on thought of something good will come out from the strategic review Plus recently . Dyna mac announced that it is going to pursue business concurrently in the green renewable energy sector So that is why i am vested cheap now

When keppel corp acquire a 27% stake in Dyna Mac many years ago at 35 cents per share for $85 million Now the 3 SSH with Temasek included already holding close to 90% of all outstanding shares The price is too low for them to cut only way is to complete buy up the remaining shares |

But whats the rational to take over DM? Keppel have so many yard, but no buiness. If they take over DM they will ocur additional cost for DM yard day to day running. DM build module for FPSO, KEPPEL is also capable of doing that. |
