TPP concluded and need like 6-9 months for the invdividual countries to sign off it, after that would take like a few years to see the benefit flowing down. Before all this can happen, need to ensure all commerce infrastructure like port terminals, logistic transportion etc are all up to mark. So u think nobody wanna to buy NOL, think again. They would be fighting to control NOL as it is a US national shipping line and stand to benefit the most from TPP, increased cargo demand and etc. By the way TPP benefit is only among it members, outsiders countries would lose their US market share and their shipping lines also lose market share as a result. TPP is US setting the trade rule for all to follow, wanna in u get the benefit of easy access to north america market and outside of it good luck to ur exporters. It a return to pre china WTO period era where APL is very profitable due to protected market in US from china.
