If you believe it is clearly undervalued that then I can see from that perspective sbb is an appropriate way to go. 

I have not had the chance yet to reassess whether at S$5 I agree with you on value. I will take another look.

In this specific case, at a certain point in time when the share price has gone up so much perhaps they should use the money to pay more dividends rather than buy back shares. Both are returns of capital, but with dividends the investor has the choice of what to do with the proceeds
