Serial currently holds 4.5% after purchasing 12m shares average $0.29. No lock in period information was disclosed on SGX and since Serial only holds 4.5%, they will be able to freely sell the shares without the need to disclose. Good thing is that the company will be able to buy up 12m more shares (hopefully that is their plan) for the acquision of skyware and after acquiring skyware, continue to purchase up to the maximum 10% of treasury shares for further acquision. Hope this time round will be able to push the price further up to 45c at least.

breakthrough solution to extend the capability to distribute signals from a single C-band antenna to potentially more than 10,000 homes over optical fibre cable will make its debut at CommunicAsia 2015 (&ldquo CommunicAsia&rdquo ) from June 2-5 in Singapore. The C-Band Fibre Integrated Reception System (&ldquo Fibre IRS&rdquo ), developed and manufactured by Global Invacom Group Limited (&ldquo Global Invacom&rdquo ), is an expansion of the current Ku-band offering so as to meet the needs of the Asian market. Unlike conventional coaxial cables which require a signal boost every 100 meters, the innovative C-Band Fibre IRS solution has an uninterrupted signal connection that can transmit up to 10 kilometers. Additionally, it can be installed, commissioned and maintained at minimal cost, yielding vast savings for installers, system integrators and operators. The C-Band Fibre IRS is the only solution that complements any existing standard C-band Low Noise Block and will be used extensively in Multiple-Dwelling Units and large villas. The company will also showcase its revolutionary Romeo and Juliet (&ldquo R& J&rdquo ) chipset, which is available to other manufacturers who can then design and offer their own Fibre IRS based products. The R& J chipset is initially being deployed in the new Global Invacom SwitchBlade (a Fibre input MultiSwitch) and the MKIII GTU, with the latter providing at least 20 percent cost savings over existing fibre offerings due to the use of the new chipset. The products can be used globally and provide efficient ways of distributing multiple satellite TV channels to apartments and other such establishments. Other products on display at CommunicAsia2015 include the tvLINK IP & tvLINK HD Coaxial System, which are ideally suited for venues such as sports bars and digital signage applications which need to manage multiple HD screens. SAN JOSE, Calif.&ndash (BUSINESS WIRE)&ndash Presto Engineering, Inc., a world leader in semiconductor back-end turnkey production services, announced today that it will provide turnkey deployment &mdash testing, qualification and back-end production &mdash for Global Invacom Group Limited (&ldquo Global Invacom&rdquo ) advanced Romeo & Juliet RF chipset. Global Invacom&rsquo s Romeo & Juliet RF chip-set destacks satellite TV signals distributed over the Global Invacom FibreIRS infrastructure, as used in MDUs, hotels and residences where bulky and expensive coax cabling is not desirable or cannot be used. The stacked satellite TV signals are sent over fiber and terminated by the Romeo chip, a differential output low-noise amplifier (LNA) that feeds one or more programmable Juliet dual-channel destacker chips that are software configurable to meet any of the world&rsquo s satellite TV frequency plans. According to Michel Villemain, CEO, Presto Engineering, &ldquo Global Invacom, one of the world&rsquo s largest manufacturers and suppliers of satellite and TV peripheral equipment, selected Presto Engineering because of our extensive RF expertise in engineering and industrialization and back-end capabilities. They also saw value in our local presence, with our test production facilities in Europe.&rdquo He adds, &ldquo We have shipped the first set of ICs to Global Invacom this month, and recently signed a contract for production into 2015.&rdquo The R& J chipset &ndash an advanced broadband receiver &ndash can be set in a wide variety of applications and configurations which requires the architecture of a program to be highly flexible. Presto, leveraging on its expertise in this domain, has achieved both flexibility with no compromise against test time. Presto has also used a proprietary algorithm for fast and accurate differential measurement to achieve 1º accuracy and stability of three times the throughout previously obtained. Malcolm Burrell, Director Advanced R& D, Global Invacom said, &ldquo We design many of the world&rsquo s most complex and demanding satellite communication products for major broadcast companies worldwide and needed a reliable source for the industrialization and production of our Romeo & Juliet RF chipset. Our partnership with Presto Engineering, with its quick turn around with uncompromised quality, has managed to reduce our lead-time and also meet our customer demands. We had an excellent experience working with them and we look forward to this continuing partnership throughout 2015 and beyond.&rdquo About Presto Engineering, Inc. Apologies. Will consider when it's sub 25 cts. I'm wary that they might have gone too fast in the inorganic growth. My last entry price was $0.20 plus but let go too fast at sub 30. Missed the boat at 50s. | ||||

P/E: 8x. Peers P/E comparables 15-20x = Undervalued.  P/Sales: 0.6x. P/Book 1.2x. = Undervalued. ROE: 16%. ROIC: 24% Profit margin 9% = Good returns. Company does buy-back of shares regularly that boost Earnings per share over the longer-term. Company gives out dividend. Excellent balance sheet: No debt.  Full of cash with strong expansion plans via M& A. Capable management. Conclusion: looks to me cheap and good at current price if willing to hold long-term. |
