x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	One really stupid issue is the barring of alcoholic drinks at location and timing. Just becos of a Little India Riot that the Police cannot cope. They end up setting these bans. No wonder LKY also says Singapore is No Fun... Everyone also know that  PAP appoint managing agents to handle these affairs for them. And these agents or their employees are all linked with HDB or government sectors before. So surely they can handle the general activities that they have been handling all the while. And when WP got hold of a GRC,  these  managing agents does not want to work with them. This  clearly shows that these  managing agents are  NOT PROFIT DRIVEN. They are selective in who they serve. As a company owner, I do not mind having a new businesses be it from PAP or WP or even SDP. I just selling a service that people need.  So surely WP need more time to start from  Zero, as previously Hougang Town Council does not appoint managing agent and it is well  managed by Mr Low TK. Sometimes it makes me wonder how come a MP is a part time vocation? Are they  really superhuman and can  handle so many duties(TC, people, home, their work)?  Do they have 48 hours a day, which we only got 24 hours a day?  kelvintan84      ( Date: 10-May-2018 13:46) Posted: actually the 30m is no big deal. PAP made lots of mistake too (and it is only human to err), as long as there is no corruption involved, it is just poor judgement and things can be worked out. But i can tell you that you are in the correct direction, just go ahead and list down EVERYTHING and their increase in prices (ANNUALISED) or divide it by base year (which every you find it easier cos i figured your maths might not be up for it).  But if you are lazy, theres a simplier way. Go figure it out yourself. oh, while you are at it, remember to not double count (your example of COE and car prices increase is a perfect example). People are usually disgrulted when they are the losers in the system. Fairly simple logic. And most people share some form of the country' s success. You can complain all day on the income inequality, the truth is this will always exist, in every part of the world. We were and still are a miracle to be so properous given our lack of natural resources, limited human capital and absence of a " big brother" . Sure, the people are the hands and legs contributing to the success of the nation, but take a step back and think, who was the brain post LKY era? - the PAP is still where all the talented and intelligent brains are. The opposition is starting from a very low base. And the truth is singaporeans are so willing to hear their plans  (based on rallies turn out)  WP - They just have to prove themselves that they can manage a GRC properly, and people are so willing to give them a chance  for bigger  stuff (WP went on to win George' s seat).  But they still failed in the end.... with such blatant mismanagement. The worse is they refused to admit even when auditors already flagged them out. I personally had hoped for WP to gain traction and attract more brainy people... but looking at the quality... haiz SDP - CSJ just need to shut up and stop denouncing singapore aboard. and stop suggesting welfare/ Govt expenditure without a plan to finance it. I think  the rest are jokers.

Dr M already 92 and you can see he is more mellow. He didmt live in the past else he wont even apologize to Anwar and partner with Anwar . He even said on national TV on his promise to make Anwar the next PM. Anwar also did not live in the past else he will not reconcile with Dr M. At 92, Dr M created history as the oldest PM. But i dont think at 92 he wants to be PM for very long time. He has achieved what he set out for : To topple Najib and to prove a point to all the umno pple What more can he ask for ?
