Don' t invest in Sg market and especially DBS it is so controlled by the bb... After a while u see volumes returning to the era where retailers just stay out. Then they will reignite interest in the retailers by doing a false push where suddenly there will be good volumes as retailers re enter only for them to suddenly sell down again and volume disappears. Classic example was the massive push to 16 dollars and it was a one way street down from there. Their games are all too familiar. Smart money goes to US and Hang Seng where the stocks are not so manipulated and trade based on true demand and supply

This morning low volume push to 15.31 is another classic example... Look at the price now of 15.18 .. Suckers got sucked in again and then now caught. Invest in the other 2 banks if you have to. Avoid DBS at all costs been studying this stock for a while. BB favorite poison trap. Even though post strongest results but hey Sg market doesn' t trade on fundamentals anymore

Becareful in a prone to price dropping market like sg. While markets in US are prone to price upping, Sg stocks are a challenge to preserve one' s capital while punting.

So for DBS to drop to below 10 Sing bucks is not unexpectation, rather it is quite possible. So I am not too keen to enter even as banks are downgraded and falling.

I think it may try to go up but will kana sellers and then go down....it has already reach the upper limit the down trend line and still got someway to do downwards

[HONG KONG] Moody' s Investors Service must pay an HK$11 million (S$1.91 million) penalty after  a Hong Kong tribunal upheld an action against the  firm by the city' s financial regulator.

In a case that was the first of its kind in Hong Kong, the Securities and Futures Appeals Tribunal on Thursday ruled that Moody' s was acting as a regulated entity providing credit-rating services when it published a report about 61 Chinese companies in 2011.

That meant Moody' s had to abide by the Securities and Futures Commission' s code of conduct, which the regulator said the report breached by failing to provide sufficient explanations for its judgments, and not ensuring the accuracy of its claims.

The decision could have wide-ranging implications for how ratings agencies operate in Hong Kong.
