If you naked short sell Monday, SGX will take from your CDP on Wed ( T2 ), not Thur as Adrianinsing said.  If the scrips are not in by noon Wed, SGX will commence buyin against the position on Wed AFTENOON already. selling prematurely on Tuesday is still a risk, but if KepCorp keeps its word to credit the SCM shares on wed 1 March. So unless KepCorp guarantees you will get it in your CDP by 1 March morning, this is a really bad recommendation. Might send some people to Holland. Best is to wait to see CDP is already credited, alternativly if you really want to short, use SBL or CFD.
