Vietshare      ( Date: 16-Jun-2020 13:07) Posted: I invested in UMS recently and will be holding for the long haul.  So naturally I hope UOBKayHian is spot on.  However, they are basing their forecast on charts which I' m not a fan of, particularly in this current climate (i.e. COVID-19, poor GDP numbers in most countries, overactive stimulus by many countries, etc) where markets are generally driven by news and speculations.  In such choatic and muddy markets, interpreting charts is like throwing darts to make projections/predictions.  In fact, even many companies and analysts in the US are already foregoing forward earning forecast etc entirely.  Chart reading kind of make sense in calmer situation where markets are primarily driven by fundamentals.  So with the current situation the world is facing, buying on value (i.e. good PB, PE, dividend) rather than price projection is the safest way to go IMO.  Fortunately, UMS is one stock with growth potential that should boost its value going forward IMO. wehuattogether88      ( Date: 16-Jun-2020 12:11) Posted: From UOB kayhian, just for reference: The outlook of the stock price is positive as it is still trading above the cloud. Price rebounded at its previous low of S$0.865, which coincides with the Fibonacci 50% correction point (Apr-May 20?s rally). The Stochastic is likely to turn up and a bullish crossover is likely in the coming session. We are likely to see the price rebounding from here. The potential upside target is at S$0.99. Stops could be placed at S$0.86. Approximate timeframe on average: 1 week (initiate this trade idea if the stock hits the entry price range within three trading days)
