x 0   x 1  Alert Admin	Golden agri went up 0.005 among the bad news released yesterday. Wondering what happened in the market!  Full of insanes human?  Where TA sometimes might not works (short term)? or should monitor a bit longer to observe? Better stay side-line for now!

But these are new developments: 1.    Low palm oil prices hitting margins of plantations badly 2.  Indonesia changing laws to kick out foreigners owning plantations 3.    Golden Agri went on borrowing spree and is vulnerable to interest rate hikes. I' d rather call a spade a spade.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	History tends to repeat itself. :) Kyoto2008      ( Date: 09-Sep-2014 01:07) Posted: There are changes as the stock price is dependent on palm oil prices.      the link I posted is from ST, and the report is that palm oil prices are at a low, due to competing oils from bumper harvests.        See the chart of Golden Agri below, the momentum is completely gone as the price spirals downwards, MACD is showing it up very clearly.            Aug 2013 and Feb 2014 do not have the same MACD characteristics, so can forget about price being maintained, it' s a new ball game, the momentum is gone.

It will first have to test the 20 MA as resistance point before moving up further. It has a gravestone doji, uncertainty, whether to go up or down. With palm oil prices at such a low, what are the chances of upward movement?      Anyway, see how the price perform tomorrow.    At best it goes up to 20MA and try to climb above it, or it could plunge lower towards 50cents, the classical support.        If it breaks, a freefall into the abyss, great loss to buyers.  I don' t think this is a stock that is worth the risk.    there are many other stocks that are breaking new highs and having potential breakouts.    It' s more like buy low and lose coz it stay low or go lower.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Palm oil prices are expected to pick up after October, that' s two months from now.      Hence, stocks with high palm oil content may not rally until that time, and are likely to stay low. Even after Oct, First Resources has a lot more upside potential than Golden Agri, coz the fundamentals are a lot sounder with significantly higher margins and return on equity.      The only advantage for Golden Agri is the NAV but this is of no use if noone is taking over the co.    With a huge float exceeding a billion shares, Golden Agri  will find it that much harder to climb past the resistance level in current.      Kyoto2008      ( Date: 08-Sep-2014 17:14) Posted: It does not look good on TA too.  Price has dived below the 20MA and this can become a point of resistance.
