 Alert Admin 		Vol has been low because only the uncles and aunties were buying since 1.35 on the expectation of a year-end rally. For the same reason, very few of them sold. BBs have been on the sideline watching and smiling and probably taking small profits discreetly.

Please be careful. Play with tiger is safer than playng with BBs.

ComfortDelGro unit divests Vietnamese taxi company

Transport operator ComfortDelGro announced on Tuesday (Dec 28) that it will divest its 70 per cent shareholding in Vietnam Taxi Co Ltd (VTCL) to Helios Service and Investment Joint Stock Company.

VTCL is a taxi business incorporated and domiciled under Vietnamese law.

The company will receive 55 billion dong (approximately S$3.3 million) for the transaction, which was arrived at on a " willing buyer willing seller" basis.

ComfortDelGro noted that the divestment will not have any material impact on net tangible assets or earnings per share of the company for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2021.

The company' s shares closed up 1.5 per cent or S$0.02 to close at S$1.40 on Tuesday before the announcement was made.

Why did the company keep quiet and is still keeping quiet about what might happen in Australia? If my guesses were correct, this has to be announced by the Aussie Gov and not by a private company coming from a foreign country because it concerns gov policies.

What else can it be? Would the Aussie gov give it full authority to take full charge of its public transport system?
