Now that UPP has revealed its game plan. here are my thoughts and some analysis. 1.Subject to the EGM vote, UPP would recognise 58% of Tiaga earnings on the basis of its proposed acqusition. and earn 14% interest on the unsecure bond that it would buy over from Berjaya. - in terms of numbers : estimated $7m of recognition. - 14% interest on $52m bond would derived an annual interest of $7m -in short FY 2016/2017 would see UPP' s profit surged to an estimated $30m. Translating that to PE would be 6X as oppose to 12X if the pricing of UPP is at 12X, the UPP fair value should be about 40c - 50c simply on PE. 2. Tiaga is currently priced at 2.5X PE. Extremely low compared to other comparable. - i believe there maybe a balance sheet play here. Tiaga market cap is very low. 0.9c X 32m outstanding shares or about $28m - all it takes is for good news from Tiaga (increaseing US sales of wood considering an improving new starts housing market thanks to growing economy and employment) - several million $$ to push Tiaga shares, UPP' s value of goes up by default of the value of Tiaga. Imagine (Yahoo' s value..... underpinned by its significant shareholder of AliBaba Shares) - historical high of Tiaga was C$3. I call this the mother-daughter effect!. For those sharejunction old timers...... if you recall in 2006 SMB united and its 80% held listed subsidiary EDMI. both delisted after being bought up. SMB made a play from 20c to a high of 52c and EDMI also triple in price. it was so easy to push EDMI and to be fair...... the profits was soaring at both EDMI and SMB. it was the perfect combination of mother going up and daughter pushing too before mother decide to buy up daughter (delisting). 3, Warrant play. Exercise price is current proposed to be at 0.35c. The higher UPP share price goes up (historical high in 2010 and 2012 was more than 40c), the free warrants would be in the money and warrants would have some decent value since it' s free. Am sure there would be some incentive to convert warrants into ordinary shares to replenish the coffers after the acqusitions are made. 4.UPP' s controlling shareholder chance to now recover his investment he made in UPP at 17c and 37c in 2012. He has waited 4 years....... time for pay back don' t you think? Conclusion: with all the stars converging....... looking good for the next 6 months at least. defintely attending the EGM and VOTING for the deal! Vested |

In any case, it shows the power of a heavily accumulated stock over a one year period. The warrants are priced at 35c so can tell what kind of target price they are looking at to replenish their coffers after the acqusition. just hope I can still accumulate this baby below 30c while waiting for my powder to come in. |

You cannot imagine how piss off I was this morning. Was bottom fishing at 23.5 and contemplating whether to just take it at 24c and case close. How wrong I was thinking this week is consolidating week. Bang now 28c. Had to go back in at 26.5c to put back all my ammo into the vault.

Just look at the Power of UPP. Who gets washed out recently when it drops to 23 cts ? I admit I did, but partially so. |
