its a tough call but for me I wld stay on sideline till CHINA response to the US $200B tarriff. This cld and will cause a major market issue for ALL ....including US mkt imo. With global trade affected , how wld USA market continue to grow. The only consolation in the short term is the result season which most likely is positive ( but for how long more if trade war go all out ) DYODD....this is my own opionion only

Imo , OCBC has the strongest growth potential in wealth mgt among the 3 banks. Esp wil the integration of WH into DBS HK , the pearl delta is now a great growth potential with 1.5B profit potential in the coming future. OCBC is alrdy ave over $1B profit a qtr. Happy investing. Result on 6th Aug before market opens. |

Back then when I first started my investing (May 2018), I entered at 12.91, thinking it was a good price. Haha, look at the early 11+... it' s truly an eye-opener. I guess the trade war sentiment and the property cooldown measures make banks take twice the heat. Wonder how long they take to recover? I guess it' s not so bad as the real estate developers who spent loads bidding land. I think OCBC will do more buy back soon too.
