Looking fwd for the rebound...after jialat drop from $14 to $11.11
By right after 85 yrs in operation..they shld be able to afford a special dividend.. I think 10 years must be able to la.. haha |

I thk OCBC was smart to hold on to more cash then jus making shareholders happy like DBS 1. The recent Msia change to big Mouth mean the sale of GE insurance may be delay or issues 2. China is certainly openng its finacial sector w expect larger % of investment allowed for foreigner ...so note OCBC has good investment in China south but more can be done to the norther and center region ( bank of Ningbo) 3. Nver late to give our special dividend ...can be any time for long term investor . Happy investing

Next shareholder meeting..shareholders can ask the ceo ..why ocbc still didnt give special dividend like dbs and uob..
Thats partly the reason why the share price is lagging its peers.. |

(Purely speculation here) OCBC and other banks have been rock bottom for so long now, and with property-cooling damper and the trade war round 2, I think it will go up, but will take more time. Unless, before round 2, Mr Xi can squeeze in a fruitful talk with Big Bully Trump. | ||||
