My gut feel is that the price will fall below $5 before the rights issue and then closer to the rights price if not below after the rights issue. There is massive dilution taking place. Temasek will only help in mopping up any excess rights/bonds, don't expect them to maintain the share price. Else might as well privatise now lol. Expect to see $5.50 and below today

It almost means borrow at no cost from Temasek and note this: Temasek may convert the bond (loan) into shares upon maturity. If so: Disadvantage: massive dilution again to even more than 70% plus depending on the unsubscribes rights, Temasek may own more than 70 percent by then Advantage: Temasek may do a GO then. But I do not think so. But again, never say never

Missed by $1 though. It could have been $2 as DJ rally saved the mother share price last two days. If mother share remains at $5 plus, the rights price will need to be around $2. Again. I suggest shh to ride with Temasek. My take: if this crisis persist further,ex R price will have to correct to $5 eventually or even below. And may not see $5 again in due course if problem persist. Not a good news not a bad news if you hold and subscribe. There will be market makers as this is SIA. But trade with caution.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	That is wat i want to say. Yes yes ah kong will help out . Rights issue. Jobs won?t be lost . But the share price must reflect the situation. They need to book billions of losses and they need loans and this will be reflected in the share price . Eg I have $500 k in bank but I have wrong investments resulting in bad debts of $2 million . I took a loan from bank and I need 10 years to pay off. Will I be better off or worse off ? I find it strange why people keep shouting price will go up go up. Bec Temasek will help. I don?t have short or Long positions in SIA But I know investing u either short or long .
